Once you receive nomination, you will get 600 points. I was wondering...For how long will the points remain in our express entry profile. What if your profile expires? Where will the 600 points go?

Hi Folks,

Is anyone here has submitted their application last October and had an update? I submitted my application last October 1 2019, but still in "Submitted" Status

Just to be clear, will the increase of 700 nominations will increase 6,650 limit ?
Annual nominations
Each year, the federal government, through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) allocates a certain number of nominations to the Ontario government (OINP).

In 2019:

  • Ontario received an allocation of 6,650 nominations and additional 250 nominations specifically for temporary foreign workers in intermediate skilled occupations (National Occupational Classification [NOC] - Skill Level C) through the federal government’s NOC C initiative
  • Ontario has also received an increase of 700 nominations to its 2019 allocation. The program will continue to process applications and issue nominations until the increased allocation is fulfilled
  • as of December 12, 2019, 6,994 nominations have been issued

Just received the Nomination.

Timeline:

EE Score before Nomination: 438
NOC: 2172
NOI Received: 1st Aug
Submitted: 7th Sep
Assessment: 4th Oct
DIP: 1st Nov
Nomination: 12th Dec
Updated EE Score: 1038

Hi,

I have crs 432 and my NOC is 2172. I'm 27 years old. I'm waiting for my second ECA which will boost up my point to 465, but it's expected only on March 2020. I'm really worried if I will get a nomination then.

And I want to know if I can make changes in my EE profile a month before the expected date of my ECA delivery to increase my chances of a nomination.

Thanks in advance

I entered the pool March this year, acutally I got NOI of the same program in March, but my work experience was not long enough, so I disgarded that notice. I checked so many times of my email and CIC account today, nothing happened, so confused...
I have no idea.

They have changed processing time for human capital stream I guess:

Ontario’s Express Entry French-Speaking Skilled Worker 60 – 90 days
Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities 60 – 90 days
Ontario’s Express Entry Skilled Trades 30 – 60 days
Masters Graduate 30 – 60 days
PhD Graduate 30 – 60 days
Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker 60 – 90 days
Employer Job Offer: International Student 60 – 90 days
Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills 60 – 90 days
Entrepreneur Stream Depends on complexity of the application

This is better than to leave us guessing on their processing timeline.

My score before nomination was 448, post nomination it should have been 1048, but instead it 1033. Has anyone else faced this thing. Also if i add up all the points in the breakup it comes out to be 1048.

Hi,

When is the expiration date of your current permit? I would suggest to wait until you get your ECA report then update your profile.
What is your current IELTS score? you can also boost your score with higher IELTS score.

My score was 451 before and retook IELTS which improved my score to 468 ( last October the federal round of invitation cutoff is 462 so I got an ITA) but after that the cutoff is 470 or so. So better look into all venue to increase your score.

Hi,

I don't live or have lived in Canada. If you mean my EE profile expiry it's till August 2020. I'm CLB9 overall 7.5, will I be seeing major changes if I try to redo my IELTS?
I'm expecting my ECA in march 2020. Still my score wouldn't be 470 plus. I'm just hoping the tech draws still happen so I can at least. Were the tech draws a one time thing?

Thank you for the heads up :)
