Mother's visitor visa rejected

my mother's visitor visa was denied. I am here as a student and don't earn much but my mother is government employee in India and she owns a house too. My brother is in India as well. She is a single parent in her account, there were INR 350000 (CAD 7000). This was the reason for refusal

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.

I want to reapply, so what should be changed to get her visa approved?

She needs more money and proof of ties to home for reasons to leave Canada.

The money is in good amount since they didn't state about sufficient funds. The ties to home country is the problem. You need to prove that she will go back for sure and not stay here forever. Focus on what she she is leaving behind what she has that will make sure she goes back to her country. When visa expires

what did you say she wants to do in Canada as the purpose of visit? and how long of a stay did you request?

The money is in good amount since they didn't state about sufficient funds. The ties to home country is the problem. You need to prove that she will go back for sure and not stay here forever. They actually did say that her finances are an issue.

7000 is not a big amount. A flight is likely at least 1k and if the person had to pay for there food, some accommodations, transportation from the airport that is easily 2k. That is almost half the person’s savings for a 2 week vacation. That would not be a logical use of someone’s lifesavings.

but the thing is its usually the inviter is paying for all expenses in reality. I know what you are trying to say, but in my case i took the responsibility since they were my guests. They lived with me i paid for food and stuff, so you know in that case 7000 i think is a good amount. My mother in law got her visitor visa approved on 5000 dollars.

Canada does not want to be left with people stranded unable to afford to stay in Canada until they can pay for a flight home and last minute tickets can be thousands of dollars. Approval with 5k is unusual. In this case the son is a student likely dependent on family or loans to pay for schooling.
