can i just say something, why do we always have to wait for immigration officers to ask for certain things especially when they are mandatory, for instance if you have to send an arc you also have to pay for it, so why don't u just do both and send both, the more they ask the longer your wait is. For the arc the list was a letter, a payment for arc and my police record, everything they ask i gave them so they wont have no reason to ask and then have to delay for another 2 months.
I ask myself the same question too. They should give you a list in the beginning of your application stating
what fees and documents you are going to need to submit throughout your application process. We shouldn't have
to wait for instructions on things we already know we need to have completed. It's a waste if time for all involved. No
wonder there is a F***ing back log and processing times are crazy long! Pendejo's!

that is so true, when i went to my interview and she was finished asking me questions she then started to explain to me about an ARC and how i needed one, so i stopped her before she had time finish and i said am sorry for stopping you but i sent my ARC 5 months ago, so she turned to her pile of papers and located both the ARC and the money order for 400 bucks, so she apologise and said ok then.

but it was so damn sad that she didnt even realise it was there 5 month ago, i dont know if it would make a difference,

Hi everyone! I'm under LMIA program, and I have this situation: my wife came to Canada 11 years ago after her dad applied for refugee and requested the whole family. Then they got refused 3 years later but they over stayed 40 days after removal order. Now we have to kids one has the eta approved, the other one still under process since I sent all the papers for my wife's ARC in Mexico City. We sent letter the reason why she wants to come to Canada copy of all the proof about the whole refugee process, 400$ fee ARC 185$visitor visa fee .they received our application on Feb 14 , I aredalr sent some emails to them asking about my daughter's ETA and my wife's ARC, all they say the ETA is under review but never mentioned the ARC. Is that normal? Does it take that long?

Hi, have you received an answer from Mexico concerning your wife's ARC ? If so, how long did it take ?

Good day, I see your post is from 2019, but I was wondering how long did it take the ARC process of your wife? ? Can you please share your experience? Thank you in avance
