medical request for parents. help!!

Hi bryanna!! How are you doing? I need your advice again.
My parents came here in March on Visitor visa and they wanted to stay here more than six months i.e till November 5th so I applied for visitor visa extension before they complete six months i.e before August. CIC did not reply since August and today I got message which says cic needs medical for my parents. But my parents already went back to India on November 5th. What should I do now?

There was a similar post on these forums. Best thing to do is call them and explain your situation to get further instructions

Did they stay past the 6 months? If so you have to do the medical. You could call IRCC to ask if it can be waived but normally it won’t and not doing it could effect future extensions.

Yes they did!! They stayed for 9 months. But the question is they are in India now. So should they get their medicals done from India? Or should I call the IRCC and just tell them my parents have already left Canada. I know if we did not get the visitor record now then it will be hard to get next time.

Yes they normally have to do a medical sounds strange but true. You can doublecheck with IRCC.
