Hello Good day!

This is Katrin from the Philippines and I have a Canadian boyfriend. We are actually looking for option for the fastest way for me to get there in Canada to live with him finally. We are not actually aiming for spousal visa for now. We've been searching for answers for 8 months already as we are in a relationship for 9 months now. He lives in Edmonton, Alberta right now and working in a call center company at Telus International. I am working here in the Philippines as a call center agent also for 2 years and 6 months.

1. Work Visa- I tried submitting an application in an agency but they said there is no employee that is looking for someone with a call center experience only. But I still tried sending my CV to work abroad just in case.
So my question is:
1.1 Is there a way that my boyfriend can look for an employer in Canada to give me persmission to work or got interviewed?
1.2 What will be the best way for me to get experience and be eligible to work someday in Canada? Because I am actually willing to quit my current job right now to be honest.

2. Conjugal Process- We are in the process of taking a look of this right now to see if we are eligible for this. But still confused about the process and how it works.
2.1 - Do we really need to be in a 1 year relationship first before we can apply for this?
2.2 - My boyfriend is planning to get a new house/apartment and put out name under it. Is it gonna be enough proof that we have conjugal properties? Or it's still need to be atlease 1 year under our name?
2.3- Do we really need to be living together first for 1 year before we can be considered as conjugal?

3. Tourist Visa Process- We got a lot of advise from this process and it was really great. But I do have still few question as well on this process.
3.1 If I will be presenting my bank account for 3 months is this gonna be enough? or I need atlease 4 months or 6 months?
3.2- If I will be staying there for 2 weeks, is the best way for me to put in the account is atlease 150 thousand pesos or 100 thousan will be enough plus his proof that he will be the one who will sponsor my living and groceries too.
3.3 If my boyfriend will be the one to sponsor me to go there.. Do I really need to show my bank account if he will show to the embassy that he will be the one to carry all expenses?

4. Student/ Work Process- I graduated as a Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management here in the Philippines for 4 years and I already have my diploma.
4.1 - What will be the best way or course to apply for so I can study in Canada?
4.2- Do you have any program that you can suggest for me to apply for Study /Work abroad?
4.3 - Like what will be the cheapest way to enroll for in Canada and what si the amount money needed for me to show proof to them?
4.4 - How does study/work works?

Thank you very much for taking a look on this. Hoping for your help here..

1. You will not be able to get a work permit. The process for hiring foreign workers in Canada is quite difficult and no call centre is going to do it.

2. You don't qualify for conjugal. There are no legal/immigration barrier preventing both marriage and common-law.

3. Post in Canadian dollars. IRCC wants to see that you have the funds to fully support your own stay.

4. You would need acceptance to a school and to show $25000 in funds.

1. Getting a job doesn't qualify you for a work permit, to get a work permit employer has to apply for and be granted a LMIA, it is complicated expensive process and employers wont do it unless you have some special skill.

2. You dont qualify under spouse, to be in common law you need to LIVE together for a year or be married.

3. Tourism visa is maximum 6 months, you need to show your own finances, if you say boyfriend will pay then they will suspect you are going to become illegal immigrant. You need to show strong ties to your home country, again boyfriend will raise their suspicions.

4. You need $10,000 + 1 year tuition + misc cost. Usually around $30,000.
You also need to show strong ties to home and that your are going back after graduation. More info here https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/study-permit.html

Your boyfriend should go to Philippines, live with you for 1 year or marry you, then you can apply for anything you want to

Hello Thank you so much for replying back and giving the advise.
So for number 2 or conjugal.. We need to live first together for 1 year and have property together? Is the property needs to be here in the Philippines?

Again, you don't qualify for conjugal. If you want to apply via sponsorship, you need to live together for a year or get married. You don't need to own property.

You need to go look at the actual application. There is a detailed guide and checklist.

Hello guys.. So for this the easiest and fastest way for now is the tourist visa..
These are the things and activities I might be showing them.. Is it gonna be okay or any suggestion please?

1. Letter from the office allowing me to go on 2 weeks vacation / Leave files proof
2. Spanish Course enrollment for 3 months here in the Philippines proof that I will study here.
3. Visiting of my half sister from USA and meeting her for the first time in April here in the Philippines. I can show the plane ticket and the conversation of me and my mom that she will go here.
4. Letter from my sister that she will go to abroad so I have a responsibility to stay in the house for taking care of my grandmother. Also documents of her going to Qatar.
5. That I have future plan in living with my dad in Peru to help him with his business by the month of June so I need to process papers for this. I can show the conversation of me and my daddy wanting me to go there to do business and live with him.
6. Still have commitment at church and I am a song leader and future plans for summer camp this April as well.
7. Plane ticket back and forth for 2weeks.
8. That I will visit again Peru in March 31 for my daddy's birthday so I need to go back in the Philippines first.

Is there any other recommendations aside from moneys and funds?

Thank you so much.

Your work and study things are good, your sisters visit, church & birthday are probably irrelevant, dont buy ticket before visa. Are you not a Philippine citizen? This could make strong ties harder to show.
