Hi,

I need to connect to ircc as my PR application got cancelled owing to incomplete documentation even though I had a very valid reason included in LOE letter. My wife was pregnant with 8 months, so I requested IRCC to give some time to submit her medicals. But was shocked today morning to see my application rejected for the very same reason - Incomplete documents for wife - Medical! This is really pathetic and never expected. Now what do I do and how to explain them my genuine situation. I am pretty sure they have not correctly interpreted my LOE otherwise there is no chance of rejection. Is there anyway I can contact them over phone and explain the situation? The only other option I found is webform which takes a week minimum to respond and also mostly are generic replies. I am really worried now!

No point in contacting IRCC, as it was not a valid reason and they won't do anything. She was required to complete the medical. If she didn't want to do the x-ray, it would have been deferred until after the birth, but the rest of the medical needed to be done.

I also rejected yesterday because of incomplete docs, it was for police certificate, I had provided a letter which showed my request was under process with its translation by certified person, but i got rejection letter, officer mentioned "
If a supporting document is in a language other than English or French, the
applicant must provide IRCC with:
the English or French translation; and
an affidavit from the person who completed the translations; and
a certified scan of the original document."
but my letter exactly includes the signs and on my scan of original document , it's mentioned that it's true copy of the original letter. I'm really confused why they rejected my application, i have already sent web-form, but is there any way to make the profile again on process?

Ur wife cannot skip medical just bcoz she is pregnant.. .ideally u should have visited panel physician n at first disclose her pregnancy n let doctor decide what's next. . N only reason to skip medical was tht it's her last week in pregnancy but no excuse in 8 month

the English or French translation; and
an affidavit from the person who completed the translations; and
a certified scan of the original document.
If you included all these three things, then you should raise a request.
If you have a good score, it is better to submit fresh profile and application and provide better documentation this time.

She should have undergone the exam with X-ray pending. You can try raising the request, but chances of being successful are slim to none.

If you have a good score, it is better to submit fresh profile and application.

Thanks all who replied here. I understand I could have done her medical atleast partially, but I could not do that because the place where she was and the hospital that has the approved panel physicians in my area is quite far i.e. around 7-8 hours road journey and owing to her health complications earlier, she was not advised to travel such long distance just to do medicals. I was in an unavoidable situation otherwise I could have atleast done her partial medical test.

Contact them and specify the distance of the closest panel physician to your address, and the difficulty to travel there with your wife in her pregnant condition. Ask them for compassionate reconsideration of your application, and that you will comply with the medical request as soon as possible once it is possible.

I would have hoped that this was explained in the initial Letter of Explanation.

hi,

Do not worry at all, If your score is good, there is a good chance your profile can be picked for next draw. Your application is only canceled, it's not rejected (as per what you mentioned initially). IRCC basically follows initial screening where they check the basic document that they have received and then start processing your application (medicals, police certificates are part of the basic documents).

When I processed my application, I uploaded wrong medicals for my husband, the file got canceled in two days and I was speechless. but fortunately, I was not rejected. So I waited for the next draw and got picked and got my PR.

I would suggest you wait for a couple of months if possible, welcome your baby, and get your wife medicals done and then submit your file. I know the processing times have changed drastically so nothing we can do about it.

She could have done the medical earlier. IRCC expects applicants to accomadate for their application, not the other way around. Your other option was reject the ITA and wait for a future invitation when she could complete the medical and you could submit a complete app.

I would too, but at the time there might have been an oversight.

In any case, I understand that going by the rules, the application should be rejected as incomplete but he can at least make an appeal on humanitarian grounds and see what they say.

But i'm not optimistic.
