Hello Good day!

This is Katrin from the Philippines and I have a Canadian boyfriend. We are actually looking for the fastest option to get there in Canada and to finally live with him. We are not actually aiming for spousal visa for now. We've been searching for answers for 8 months already as we are in a relationship for 9 months now. He lives in Edmonton, Alberta right now and working in a call center company at Telus Communications. I am working here in the Philippines as a call center agent also at Telus International for 2 years and 6 months.

3. Tourist Visa Process-
We got a lot of advise from this process and it was really great. But I do have still few questions as well for this process.
3.1 If I will be presenting my bank account for 3 months is this gonna be enough? or I need atlease 4 months or 6 months?
3.2 If I will be staying there for 2 weeks, is the best way for me to put in the account is atlease 150 thousand pesos or 100 thousand will be enough plus his proof that he will be the one who will sponsor my living and groceries too for food.
3.3 If my boyfriend will be the one to sponsor me to go there.. Do I really need to show my bank account if he will show to the embassy that he will be the one to carry all expenses?
3.4 Aside from telling and showing the embassy the proof that I will go back to the Philippines like familiy ties, job, future plans and events.. What are the suggestion that you can still give me to make it strong please?
3.5 If I am planning to go there in March.. is it okay to process the papers on February?

Not sure what you mean by this but show your salary account that gets credited with salary
Yes, you need to show it for ties
Family ties, job letter, past travel history would work best. It is a bit risky since as you yourself mention your eventually plan is to be with your bf for good.
Check for processing times and keep enough margin. If you have all documentation ready, I would say apply as early as possible (3 months away)

No. IRCC is looking for travel to countries requiring visas such as the US and UK.

But I have known someone who made it there even without travel experience. Got denied for 2x and apporved in the 3rd application..
Yes - it's possible to be approved even without travel history.

However there is no point for you to travel to a country that does not require a visa. This will not increase your chances of being approved. Again, IRCC is looking for travel to countries requiring visas.

Very likely your employer never applied for your Visa.

Best would be to start with a new application. That ways you can confirm that you know what all is started in application. Your prior biometrics will be used in this case.

Hello Peeps,

I have a query about Tourist Visa. I am a PR holder for one and half years now but currently live in India. I have lived in Canada for one year though. I am getting married on 13th January 2020 (it's a court marriage) for which I have taken a date. Now I want to know if I can apply for Tourist Visa for my to-be spouse (from 13th January onwards) as I do not want to waste time since I am planning to move to Canada on 1st February or do I have to wait till 13th January (for getting the marriage certificate).

Any guidance in the above will be highly appreciated.

Hi,
my fiance is a PR holder in Canada landed one week ago. we are planning to get married in Jan 2020 and I'm thinking to apply fro visit visa in Feb and go there and apply for inland sponsorship.

I wanted to know that is there any time frame for visit visa like 15 days, 30 days or 60 days more, in case if I apply for 30 days visit visa can I apply for open work permit and sponsorship meantime.
I heard that if I apply for sponsorship I do not want to leave the country.

Please help and clarify my doubt.
