Hello Dear,

My brother wanted to visit Canada but I’m not eligible to provide him sponsorship due to my other fact. For the reason if someone intent to sponsor him then what kind of documents does he need to arrange. Does it mandatory that the sponsored person must be blood related.

You cannot "sponsor" someone on a temporary resident visa, but you can invite them. There are no requirements to invite someone aside from being a PR, citizen, or otherwise legally resident in Canada.

I do not think that student can provide invitation. However, thanks for your reply.

One more question please. In fact my brother doesn’t travel any other country except study purpose. So, without any traveling visa does it easy to get Canadian visit permit only with an invitation. I know it’s difficult to say. Perhaps no body is ambassador in this forum but would requesting to have some advice please.

On the other hand for invitation provider’s what kind of documents (financial) need to prove.

You said "due to my other fact" in your original message, that's what I was questioning.

There is nothing written that says a student cannot provide an invitation letter. Since an invitation letter means nothing aside from proving that you have someone to visit in Canada, it doesn't really matter as long as the inviter is in Canada legally.

An inviter doesn't have to prove any financial status since it is up to the visa applicant to prove they have the finances to afford to visit Canada.

In general a Canadian visitor visa is tough to get. It will really depend on your brother’s ties to his home country and his savings.

Thank you guys for kind reply May I have some awareness regarding visa assurance? In fact my brother doesn’t travel any other countries except his study purpose. Though he finished his study in Germany and right now he is at Bangladesh. So at this circumstance, if he apply in Canada for visit visa with invitation then what is the opportunities to obtain visa.

Every element in a visa application is a balance between the rest. The applicant must prove to the visa officer that the applicant's chance of overstaying is so low as to not be a risk.

Travel history to other countries with a strict visa policy is very useful, especially if it shows that the applicant follows the rules. If the applicant's travel history is lacking, then there needs to be strength elsewhere in their application to balance that out.

what would be his purpose of visit? what is his financial situation like? is he employed? does he have a wife or kids back home? does he have property in his name?
Basically travel history is not a must, but what else does he have that will ensure he will leave Canada at the end of his stay?
