Scanned signature

So the first CSR told you the page number was an issue but the scanned signatures were not. This CSR told you the page number is not an issue but the scanned signatures is. How reliable are there? I don't know if the number in the pages would be an issue or not, to be honest. I remember when applying for a TRV it was an issue and my application couldn't even be sent with those discrepancies in the page numbers. Perhaps someone else can jump in and clarify.

Scanned and digital signatures aren't accepted - only original signatures are accepted.

So yes - you should unfortunately expect the scanned signature to be a problem. Assuming the figure out the signatures are scanned, CIC will either ask you to resubmit the forms properly signed or return your entire application package unprocessed (probably the second).

Just wondering if your application gone through with no problem? I have the same issue, we filled out all the forms when I went back home to visit my husband, I came back to Canada to prep everything and that's when I noticed the version changes.. So I updated the forms but it was so close to us submitting our package I didn't want to waste any more time. I referred back to the CIC website and there is a note in "Signature" section noting that they normally accept photocopies of signatures however the officer may request for the originals ( which means it's up to the officer..but it doesn't say that we'll return your application). So my husband signed and sent me the scanned copies, I had one form with his original signature on it but all others are photocopies. Just wondering if your application was returned for this reason.

I ended up sending the scanned copies and they accepted it as is. They didn’t request the originals.

Can someone please instruct me on how to send scanned signature? I'm confused if I have to send my signature as a separate paper page or should I insert it into my forms as image into the signature box, which I can't do it because form is not letting me to do that.

I have already submitted my application for PR but my employment letters had digital signatures (copies of signatures inserted into a word doc then saved as a PDF) and they are not on the company letterhead as the company no longer exists. Do you think I should have new letters created with affidavits? I only just discovered this was needed if a company letterhead was not used.
