Hi,

I am about to submit my documents for e-APR. However I have an issue in the visa pages included in passport. I work as a supply chain executive for last 5 years in UAE. However visa is initially given as Sales representative and it has stayed the same during each renewal process.

Will this be an issue during back ground check? Should I write a letter of explanation on why the job designation in visa is different from my actual job designation?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

BR,
Poova

I have been told that it will not be an issue as long as the work experience letter claims the job post that you have declared in your EE profile.

I have submitted my file in Aug-2019. Waiting for an update. Fingers crossed !

Thanks.

I understand. However I think you can work around the procedure. See the below link

This is with reference to Indian companies. Am sure you have notaries in the place you live ( if you are not in India)

Hope it helps

I think many cases in the UAE have the same issue. As long as we have a reference letter fulfilling the need of ircc, i think that should suffice. I myself have a different visa title and job title.

@ammad88, need your advice on below matter:
- my ex employer closed down a division of a group of companies i worked for more than 3 years.
- my ex employer didnot provided me the experience letter.
- visa designation is ARCHIVE CLERK however the actual designation was Network Engineer.
- no payslips provided to me during whole employment period.

I only have below documents:
- received experience letter from Ministry of Labour, Dubai, UAE but with visa designation.
- received reference letter from my direct manager.

will this be sufficient to claim experience for this tenure ?

please reply.

Thank god. I thought I was the only one. I have residence visa in UAE but I am actually not based there so my initial visa came with SALES title despite working as a technical support engineer.

I am no expert but i presume that if you provide a reference letter from your line manager with all the details required by ircc, that should be enough. Further, explain the situation about division of your company being closed down in LOE.
Let @NikSharma01 shed some light on this for you.
Hope it helps.

Don't worry, its a norm in the uae to have different visa and different job title. The major thing is Job details/description which needs tocbe in line with that of your NOC.
