Hi guys,

I have tried looking for this but there seems to be no solid thread on it.

I have two passports from two different countries (dual passports). Under the ID documents section on the application, it says you should use the passport you plan to travel to canada with. But surely I would need to disclose my other passport under the ID document section as well?

Furthermore, on the upload section of the passports/travel documents (multiple), over here I only need to upload the two VALID passports? I will upload the expired ones on the LOE.

That's why it says 'multiple'. If you have two valid travel documents, upload both (in one PDF).
You don't need to upload the expired ones. It's not required.
But it might not hurt uploading them if your new ones are 'clean' (no stamps, etc) - i did this for one of my dependents, don't think it's a bad thing to do, but not necessary either.

Hi there,

What if I have two passports from one country?
Both are valid but I always used only one of them to travel to Canada.
The second one was used for a couple of short trips to other countries several years ago.

Technically, Canada is not aware of the second passport. However, I had to disclose all my trips and obviously there are 2-3 stamps in the second document.

Thank you!

how can you have 2 valid passports at the same time? :S

I suppose you upload both of them in one pdf like the others mentioned above.
