Hello all,

We passed our test with perfect score on Oct 30, 2019. At the interview we were told they were granting our citizenship and were invited to the ceremony the following day at 11am!

We had the ceremony yesterday October 31st at 11am in Scarborough. It all happened very quick and we were surprised.

We are grateful to all for your help and sharing your stories. Now the only issue is we have a trip planned on monday to Boston and have no PR Card (since it was taken) and no Canadian passport since we'll have to wait until Tuesday to apply for one. But we'll have to figure something out.

Same. In process since Aug 7th. Vancouver is a slow office
And Surrey office is slower than Van! Looks like BC applicants will be waiting a while...

I have a question. Do they ask us to bring original Ielts in Invite letter. I don't have original one because I submitted my original ielts at the time of filing PR application from India. I just have the copies of ielts. What should I do? Please need some advice from u all. Thanks.

2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on June 25, 2019.
3. We started processing your application on August 22, 2019.
4. We sent you a notice on October 11, 2019 to appear and write the citizenship test on October 30, 2019 at 10:01 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
5. You became a Canadian citizen on October 31, 2019.
