My mom passed a medical exam for visa extension in June 2019. When I received the IME request letter for PR application on August 20, I uploaded the results from June via web form together with the request letter. I received standard confirmation that IME has been received and forwarded to the responsible office on August 28. On September 19, my CIC was updated as medical passed.
I phoned yesterday, another agent told me it is good for PGP.
They haven't process that yet, which they might not see it yet. I sent another note last week. Hope they will see it and process that.
I only sent the medical results which is 1 week ahead of medical request from PR.
Thanks for your information.

I did sent the copy (information sheet) with photo, passport all information on the sheet from doctor through web form and confirmed that they received on sept 20, 2019.
I phoned CIC a few times, it seems this form was added to the application, not under medical exam under my MOM'S name (from what they told, seems only when they start processing the documents, they will see this medical exam). I also been told a few times that the officer haven't go through this document yet. Just confused when got different answers from different agents.
Thanks for all of your answers!
Give them time and wait.

Is it true that when you submitted supplemental documents the officers will wait until the deadline is passed to process the files no matter how fast we act upon the request?

I have got a pdf request from cic to sumbit all of the following if applicable:
- PR fees ( already paid with initial application)
- biometric( they asked to look for a request in my cic, nothing there)
- travel history form
- military service detail
- pcc
- resume

It looks like a standard format, has anyone else recieved a similar request?
That's a standard email asking for updates/information.

Thanks @rinkupatel.dmj . As @fjle mentioned a ghost update is when you see the status in my CIC as "application profile updated" but truly no change to any other section. I had this update in myCIC on 25th, and next day ecas changed to "DM"
Congratulations.Do you mind sharing where about did you see the Update on your My CIC?

I got DM for PA a few days after the change to background check. Even though I have DM on ecas, MyCIC still shows “we do not need additional documents”... lol
Congratulations on your DM on PA.

I was told to send the same documents on MY CIC last Week which was told on Sep 27 via email and trust me I have sent it on OCT 9. And then last week i noticed that the documents you provided have been uploaded. We are processing your Background check.

I sent all the documents again next day and now all they are waiting is the RCMP Fingerprints now. PA is still in process.

Under "Current Status", which is normally "Submitted". It will change to "application profile updated"
Thank you, Mine says Your action is required. Wonder why they sent me an email to send the same documents again which I have already sent it to them and next day they already uploaded my additional documents .

My sponsorship app is 50 days in process today. Hoping for some movement this week!
I sincerely wish you and others speedy processing; but part of me feels that things will "generally" slow down now that elections are over. The case officers may be deployed to other / more pressing Economic Classes...

I called IRCC today, but the agent is not giving any information about the status of documents submitted via email. He is asking to submit representative form to get this information. Also he mentioned mycic account will not see any updates since information was requested and submitted via email.. is there any other way to check the status of document submited.

you may want to try again and speak with s different agent. Some are pricks and some are super helpful; I spoke to an agent and got confirmation that the uploaded documents were in the file.

Yes, maybe because my parents are here from almost 2 years on Supervisa and it was only for my Dad as he is the PA

i thought the same they don’t need Pcc from Canada, but they sent me a request letter stating Fingerprints from RCMP for my Dad.
