Hey guys,

My OINP application has been outstanding for so long that I just wanted to see what you guys think. Following is my timeline.

NOC: 1111
NOI Received: May 31, 2019
Application Submitted: July 12, 2019
Assessment: July 20, 2019 (approximately)
Decision in Progress: August 9, 2019 (approximately)
Approval: Awaiting

I called OINP last week and the representative looked up my file number and told me that the result would come out at any time as they do not need any further documents from me. I am still patiently waiting for the result but I am frustrated since I see people who applied later started getting their nominations.

Any thoughts or comments..?

Hi everyone,
I need your help.
I am a newbie here.
I just recently decided to apply for the PR and most probably this year is the last year I can apply.
I graduated with a master degree from Ryerson-Toronto in June 2018.

However, I have very a little info. about the OINP master stream, and got alot of questions. Your help is greatly appreciated.

1. last year I created a one-key account and received my ID confirmation in my email. but for some reasons I did not proceed further.
Now I can not remember my password or answers to the security Q., Is it OK if I create a new account? if so, can I create it now, or there is a certain time for signing up?
2. I read everywhere that the application opens only twice a year, what does that "open" mean? Isn't the site always open?
If not, how would you come to know which day/time it is open? Should I wait till that time to sign up for the One-key?

3. I have a job now, but it is not from a Canadian company. it's an international one but I receive my income in my canadian bank every month.
What should I show for fund as that $12,669 for living expenses?

4. Where in this forum I can find the info. about all the stages, the documents required, checking my eligibility and calculating my CRS score?I found a link for the EE calculating CRS score, but not for the Master stream.

You can go ahead and create new account. There is no time frame to create onekey account. Onekey account is not specific to any stream, it is a common account where you can apply for any available stream required

2. I read everywhere that the application opens only twice a year, what does that "open" mean? Isn't the site always open?

It means, OINP accepts applications for this stream only at certain time lime specified by them, site will be open though, you don't need to wait till that time to create onekey account. This the place where they post update regarding the stream intake openings https://www.ontario.ca/page/2019-ontario-immigrant-nominee-program-updates, this is for 2019, similarly you can find for next year too once it is posted. In 2019, if you go to April 30, you will see update for Masters stream posted, this way you can know when the stream is going to open, in the mentioned time and date if you login to onekey account, you will see masters stream listed where you can apply.

3. I have a job now, but it is not from a Canadian company. it's an international one but I receive my income in my canadian bank every month.

Your bank statement and letter from bank as required by OINP

4. Where in this forum I can find the info. about all the stages, the documents required, checking my eligibility and calculating my CRS score?I found a link for the EE calculating CRS score, but not for the Master stream.

This is where you get official requirement and eligibility criteria from OINP https://www.ontario.ca/page/oinp-masters-graduate-stream
I have replied as inline comments to your message

Hi All,
I'm newbie here and i need you guys help.
I recently got a new job and my employer agreed to help me with the PR process. I'm thinking of applying under OINP Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream but Im also looking at express entry

I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me answer the following questions

Since you don't need a year experience to apply under OINP Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream.
1. Can I leave my job after i receive the nomination and apply for the paper base PR which usually takes 15-18 months?

2. Can i use the nomination for express entry?

3. Can i use two 6-months experience from two different employer to apply for express entry or does the work experience have to be 1 year continuous from the same employer?
Thanks in advance!

I might know the answer to the 3rd question..
When you create EE profile with 2 6-months experience, your profile will appear as ineligible. So I believe you will need 1 year experience under the same employer in order to enter the pool.
pls correct me if I'm wrong.

Thank you for your reply. so you just need to have 1 year skilled experience from one employer and you don't need to be working for them at the time of your application

1- I don't know
2- that nomination cannot be used for EE
3- you can combine experience from 2 employers:
  • have at least 1 year of skilled work experience in Canada, in the last 3 years before you apply. The work experience must be:
    • full-time or
    • an equal amount in part-time
  • have gained your work experience by working in Canada legally

Hey, I have CLB 9, 2172 and CRS 453z and no NOI yet. I believe they issue those in bulk, and haven’t issued them since 15th August. I submitted my application on 6th September.
Same here. 458 ,clb 9. 2175( but i guess they will send next ITA s in 2020. We missed the train

apparently you can use it for EE. it adds 600 points to your EE profile if you have one.

No, the 600 points only are added if you receive the nomination under an EE stream, Human Capital Priorities Stream for example, or if you receive a NOI, that is.... Ontario found you in the pool a sent you an invitation to apply.

If you get the nomination under a non EE stream as Foreing Worker, International Student or Master Graduate, the 600 points are not added to EE and you have to apply to PR under paper basis:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/provincial-nominees/application-process/express-entry.html

See the NOTE:
If you have a nomination that is not for Express Entry, you must apply using the paper-based process. You cannot use this nomination for Express Entry.

Hi All,

Hope all aspirants are doin good.
I had couple of silly questions, hope someone cud throw some light on any of questions here:

I have received OINP nomination and respectively 600 points in my EE profile

Q1: Once I receive ITA, does the further process remain same as regular EE pr?
I.e. Do I need to submit all the docs again?
Q2: If all docs need to be submitted again..Can I use same docs agn? I.e. The bank statements etc I've uploaded for OINP, can i use the again? Will it create prob if it's back dated?
Q3: My IELTS results submitted for OINP is different than express entry Coz it had expired so updated with new one, will iy cause issue?
Q4: what are tentative timelines for entire process post ITA? considering its via pnp

Thanks in advance all
