Right !! just add another 5-7 years. in processing time... Family reunification has been one of the priority for Liberals, look at the processing time for all such visa categories and compare to what they were ... spousal cases use to take 2-3 years.. srsly..-- . Hope Libs win again !!
In the grand scheme of things - basing the fate of an entire nation on a "pgp program" is a tad bit selfish. just saying. May the best party/candidate for this great country win, regardless of their stand on immigration.
I totally agree, the point I was making was the combination where the PGP program has the best chance of staying the same. For sure there are more pressing issues to address which should determine how one votes.
I also sent email to that address several times and keep getting mailbox full messages. However, 3pm I sent email again, so far no message is back, seems ok now?
- After you login to MyCIC, you click on Link App to this Account button. Choose Permanent Residence in category and Family Class (Parents & Grandparents) in sub-category. This will open all the required fields you will need to fill up.
- In the passport section, enter the info as seen in the originally sent passport of PA. you can use passport # and date or place.
- Match the city and province name you entered in the original application.
- count # of Family member = [ Sponsor + if Cosigner ] do not count kids + [PA + if Dep]

I'm still not sure why they transferred my parents file to Los Angeles VO. And out of these many ppl, only 3 people got transferred there.And that VO is extremely slow. I havent seen anyone seeing updates from them from over an year since last PGP 2018 draw. I wish it was Mississauga.
@robertp I actually tried this many times but for some reason I still could not link it. Basically number of family member is 7 (me+co signer+PA+4 dependents). I will try again tomorrow or probably will email them if I still could not go through after a week.
When they requested my parents PCC and travel form, I had 3 documents listed under required documents. I emailed them as well as uploaded them in My CIC. It may be different if you got generic email!
is all 4 dependent accompany principal applicant to Canada? if yes your total # of family member = 7
@robertp yes all 4 of them. My dad and 3 younger siblings. I've been trying to link it and always put 7 but could not go through. Oh well! I'll just keep trying.
