Hi ,

I recently feb 21, 2019 got married to a guy who is In canada since few years , his PR is under process and he added me as spouse after my wedding ,he left me in india and went back to canada he never gave me any application or file number for PR , so i dont know status till today , Now we have lot of issues as he cheated me by not informing me that he is already married and divorced earlier and now demanding huge amount of dowry now , when raised my voice against his first marriage and his parents harrasment in india and his mental harrasment everyday. he blocked my number and not even responding to me anywhere . his father visits him every six months and works illegally in canada on cash and comes back to india , Can someone help me How can i handle my PR without any file number and complain to authorities about his harrasment .

You should first report his father for working illegally.

You don’t actually have any right to PR. It is up to your husband whether he wants to sponsor you. Given the relationship breakdown it doesn’t seem like you are together or will remain together so sponsorship approval wouldn’t be warranted.

You will have to contact the Indian officials about the harassment.

Honestly, Canada doesn't care about your private marital issues. His PR app is not going to be cancelled because he cheated on you and asked for a large dowry or because his father works illegally.

Get your belongings, file for divorce and move on with your life.

is there any chance that I can find attorney to file a case , but how can I even leave him after spoiling my life and career .
I used to be in USA and he got all my things and spoiled my career too

That is not an immigration related issue, so I think that you need to talk to a lawyer skilled in "family law".

My medicals are done everything is paid waiting for background verification to be finished , Vancouver center for our PR application , now I don’t even know what is the status

He didn't "cheat on you". He wasn't honest about his previous relationship.
But he is not having an affair... I think that's in general what people refer to "cheating". I was confused when reading your post.
May be he was marrying you for your dowry and or your other belongings. btw how can he harrases you after he blocked your number?
It's less of an immigration issue but more of a family law one. I think it's better for you to move on and seek for help from a lawyer.

Yeah, we don't need these shitty individuals in the Country I was born in, if this continues Canada will become a third world Country. CBSA needs to start doing their jobs better and start chasing these fraudsters.

This guy hid the fact that he was divorced. Not very honest but also not a crime. Think people are overreacting. This is why people need to date for a longer period of time before getting married.

He can easily get his PR because he hasn’t done anything criminal this a private matter between spouses. There is no case to file. Not telling someone you were divorced isn’t a crime. Not a great idea but definitely not a crime. Nobody is forced to include their spouse on a PR application. They can remove them if they no longer want to sponsor them. The dowry issues are not happening in Canada so you can file a case in India.
