I've been working as a baker for about a month and I'm thinking of applying for PR under
OINP Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream.
my employer has agreed to help me with the PR process as the company mets all the requirements but the problem is that i don't think i can stay with this company for 15 months which is the time it takes to get pr under this stream.

-Does anyone know if we can leave our employer and move to different job as we get nominated and apply for PR or do we have to stay with the same employer till we get our PR?

or is it better to get 6 months experience with employer, get 6 months with another employer then apply under express entry?

Since you will have received the nomination as a result of having a job offer from that employer, yes - you must remain with that employer until you have PR (or find a new employer willing to support your nomination).

As for Express Entry - it really depends on how many points you'll have once you have a year of work experience in Canada. Right now you need around 460 points to be selected. Will you have enough points in a year to be picked?

@scylla Thanks for responding to my post.
From my understanding OINP Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream has two steps
Step 1: You apply and get nominated which usually takes 30-90 days.
step 2: You apply for PR paper base which usually take 15-18 months.

If i get nominated i would have enough points to get in the express entry. The nomination gets you 600 points
but I don't know if you are allowed to use experience from 2 different employer or it has to be 1 year continuous experience from the same employer

Yes - it's a two step process. You need to make sure you meet the nominaion requirements until you are approved for PR. If during step 2, IRCC finds out you are no longer with the employer that nominated you (they will be verifying this during step 2), IRCC will say you no longer qualify for the 600 points and refuse you. This will be done through a procedural fairness letter where IRCC will say they intend to refuse you unless you can prove you are still working for the original employer who nominated you. Again, if you want to change employers, you would need to find another employer who is willing to support your nomination and go through the paperwork to change employers in your nomination.

I'm not sure I understand your question about 1 year of continuous work experience. Are you asking about the Canadian Experience Class program through Express Entry? Or FSW?

Yeah I'm talking about Canadian experience class through EE but someone has already answered the question in another forum.
-Apparently your EE profile would appear ineligible when you use 2 6months experience from 2 different employers.
