Did you try giving them a call to see whats the delay for the medical? Did you have to do an RCMP fingerprints check too?

The timelines do not make any sense and the process seems to differ from 2018 applicants and 2019. Looks 2019 is a new pilot project

No One is screwed. Ofcourse MIDI has updated IRCC from their end to regarding the massive delays and bulk log for the CSQ issuance. However, when I received my "Accuse de reception" from MIDI, I updated through the webform to IRCC and wrote that "Here is my proof of submitting CSQ application with the given time by IRCC, but there is a delay from MIDI in issuance of CSQ which is beyond my control and therefore ia m unable to submit the CSQ within the given time and requested the extension",.... I received an email from my IRCC case officer after 10 days of webform submission and he granted me extension until sep 2nd week.. !!!

so, I received my CSQ in the first week of Sep and I submitted the CSQ through webform again to IRCC instead of waiting that MIDI will send it to the IRCC on their own pace. Once again within 10 days I received the conformation that "we have received your CSQ and it has forwarded to your case officer".

Guys! Govt institutions work on their own pace. I am sure MIDI is communicating everything to IRCC about the delay but a little misunderstanding can cause trouble to us (as applicant). we need to stay on the tail of our own file. and keep IRCC update of any delay of new information which they have asked for. Hope my answer helped!!!

Where did you upload the CSQ? I've uploaded my Police certificate throught the mycic website (Principal Applicant) after they requested it, but there's no option for uploading any other documents (it just shows me the list of documents that I have uploaded)

I don't think you actually have to tell IRCC that MIDI is having a delay but sending the CSQ it's a good move to give impulse to your application

Agree its not necessery but I did and I got response from my case officer and he wrote me

"Extension Granted until Sep 13"

Now you can decide what is better for you. I only shared my personal experience.

I know but there is no given time to send the issued CSQ, There is a given time to send your application and your letter to MIFI. (Which is 30 days). After that it's between IRCC and MIFI.

I was on work permit waiting for PR in 2018. After our marriage I added my wife to CSQ first but there was a confusion and I got my PR alone and CSQ only the following month so had to start a fresh PR application for my wife.

This is my first post. I apologize if this has been asked umpteen times before but I couldnt find any closely related post. I applied for Inland common law sponsorship Quebec in December 2018 (received Dec 15, 2018). I got the AOR in Feb and the CSQ in end of March. I linked my application to my online account on April 4 2019. However, afterwards, I havent received ANY update of any type from CIC. No changes or updates on my account. I even havent received medical request.

In my account it doesnt even show that my application processing even being started "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility". And all other sections also say something like "not needed at this time"...I see that most people get their medical request or some similar updates within a month or so after receiving their CSQ. The timelines just dont match. So, I have started to get really worried about this. Anyone with a similar case? Thanks a lot for your input!

CSQ Invitation: Feb 5, 2019
Applied for CSQ: Feb 12, 2019
CSQ Approved: March 5, 2019

Radio Silence From IRCC since then. Nothing has started. Background Check status not applicable.

I believe once you have the OWP copy and a full time employment, you can apply for the RAMQ card. There is still a delay of 3 months after your application before you receive your RAMQ card. If applicant is from 'France' or countries with agreement with quebec, you can bypass the waiting period of 3 months by providing an additional form

Hi Im going through the spreadsheet and I see that June is the only month where there is a column for CSQ. I just want to know if CSQ Received is the date it is received by MIFI, the date the email is send from MIFI to the sponsor or the date it is received by IRCC and updated on their website (ECAS?)? I'm trying to understand the formula to gauge the number of days to expect. Thanks.
