Did you receive anything yet??
They started working on mine on June 19th
Yeah, I got a letter on September 12th asking for missing documents: proof that I live together with my partner (since we moved to a new address on July 1st) and, for some reason, a legible photocopy of my passport (which I had already sent).

Which probably means that my application is back at the end of the queue. The federal process seems to be moving faster.

https://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/family-reunification/index.html

The Department is currently receiving an exceptional volume of family sponsorship cases. As a result, it has become impossible to meet the 25-day deadline set out in the Customer Service Statement.

However, be assured that these delays will not affect the timelines for issuing permanent resident visas to sponsored persons. MIFI and IRCC work together to ensure that your file is processed and visas are issued in a timely manner. Arrangements have also been made so that you do not have to worry about the date of issuance of the Québec Selection Certificate. The MIFI is in charge of making the link with the IRCC.

The Department is currently processing applications received up to:

- June 18, 2019 for a spouse, common-law partner or dependent child;
- July 28, 2019 for other family members.

Wait time information is updated regularly.

If paying the $284 fee by a bank draft. Can I pay by a bank draft from TD Bank? And is there a $7.50 fee to add for the bank draft?

Hi guys,
I couldn't find the English forms anymore, and are trying to complete my forms in French with Google Translate, but got stuck on one of the questions in form 0546.

The question is 2.1 under section 2. Renseignements sur votre conjoint ou conjointe (s’il y a lieu)
2.1 Est-ce que votre époux ou épouse, ou votre conjoint ou conjointe de fait se porte cogarant
de l’engagement avec vous ?

Should I answer Oui or Non to this question?
I'm the husband living in Quebec sponsoring my wife living out land.
Can anyone please explain what the question is asking?

Thank you,
Brian
