I got it the applications are slow...But not for ali. Each case is different. My friend applied on 30 NOV 18, was transfered on 22 JUL to Mexico and received the PPR on 29 August. She is in Toronto now

Well, is not safe suppose anything, let's wait

Where was "your friend" from?
Also if it was school related... or she has a higher level education (University or higher) They often go quicker.

Hello everyone.
My case is in VOF in Mexico for the last 3 months. December 24 is my deadline, we waiting for the Pre-arrival letter but yesterday we received a letter requested us our marriage certificate again and our relationship story, how started until our marriage. It is normal?

Very normal. I was advised by a friend to include our relationship story in the application from the very beginning as a proof of our relationship (amongst the other proof required) and I’ll say, it helped a lot, as our case was definitely not straight forward (husband was previously married, has a daughter from previous marriage, etc.)
Definitely write out a detailed timeline, with your own personal touch of course - how you both met & fell in love, how the relationship progressed to engagement (if there was one), and then marriage.

We included those kind of details somewhere in the application yup.... still in consider of the PA's origin is def not a straight forward app, i doubt it. Seems no matter the mountain of proofs you provide , if it's some countries it's scrutinized as if they were all criminals.

Yes, I agree 100%. Despite all the proof provided, it comes down to the country of origin as to how the application will ultimately be processed - based on many posts on this forum, it seems. Unfortunately, this is the case for many countries where fraudulent marriages have been prevalent for the purpose of immigration... Everyone ends up paying the price for the few that have taken advantage of the system. :(
