Guys, is there a provision of adding a dependent in the original application? Like, I sponsored my parents initially, and now want to add my grandfather too. Income should not be a problem in this case, is it possible?

P.S.: Tried searching the thread, couldn't find a legit answer.
Grandfather is not dependent of your parents. You have to submit a separate interest and separate application for them.

Has anyone received a letter from IRCC asking you to provide additional requirements?

- Right of Permanent Residence Fee
- Passport / Travel document
- Biometrics

Letter states if not already included in your application, please obtain and submit as soon as possible.

We already submitted these documents. I'm wondering if anyone else got this letter.
Many, check the tracker: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1AqTuXZrYG6sg4UHpHBEaMbWTgbHtvxzWYedaojGh0bg/edit#gid=945174368

I finally made progress to the point police cert and medical result is required.

Just to clarify:
medical result is submitted by the clinic(emedical), and I just receive a "return" to prove it were done, so I will send it to CIC anyway.
police cert: need to be translated and notarized and send to cic.
same goes 5562 and resume.

My question is they said they want to receive in email.
"In order to facilitate faster processing, please send these documents by email to: IRCC.CPCMParentsandGrandparents-Parentsetgrands-parentsCTDM.IRCC@cic.gc.ca" but notarized copy is pretty big,so should I send in by mail as well?

on the point of police cert, they said
"Please send a copy of the original police certificate to this office as soon as they receive it."
but later they said: "Please send us scanned or photocopied versions of the requested documents. Please do not submit originals, unless otherwise stated, as documents submitted will not be returned."

so seems all conflicting.
I will just scan all the files, send with an email and then send the actual copy of the files altogether in mail, is that what suppose to do?
You can send everything by e-mail. You can split the emails.

Or you can mail them by post.

Hi @robertp,

  1. We sent XXX correspondence acknowledging receipt of XXX's application(s) on October 7, 2019.
But i have not received anything, last thing i received was SA letter in october 4th

Do parents get AOR also for the PR part ?

Please update line #478 for SHAKS999

Received email requesting following docs to be re-sent: IMM5669 and IMM5406 on 09/23.
Re-submitted on 10/03. Have not heard back since.

Anyone else who had to re-send docs - how long does it take for the AOR to come after you re-submit docs?

Thanks!
There is no fixed time line. The CO generally check the file after 30 days, but may look into it earlier. Once they marked the file as completed, the put a batch request for AoR.

I'm in the same boat. There's a lot of inconsistency with application IP/DM timing but there's nothing we can do but be patient and wait.

You have to wait at least 30 days, most likely bet ween 34 and 60 days but not before a month after the request

I checked ECAS for my father PA it is DECISION MADE today but when I click there’s no further message after the medical result received.
I hope for more information later on in the email. Nothing yet in MYCIC.

NOTE: I am under the parents and grandparents sponsorship program since my sister is sponsoring my parents along with me as their dependent.
I am being sponsored by my sister to become a PR and I just got a letter asking me to give my biometrics. There was a note saying that I have to give the biometrics outside of Canada and I need to leave Canada to give it. Since I am currently studying in Canada with a study permit, do I really need to leave Canada to give the biometrics or can I do it within Canada? It will be really hard for me to leave because of my studies. Please advise.

Have you been requested PCC? If yes, when did you submit PCC?
