As an Sponsor, CIC has requested to send copies of my old non-canadian passport, however i couldn't find that passport, i have lost it or misplaced. I am holding Canadian passport since 7 years. What are your suggestions?

No signature required.

Regarding the no. of pages, it's little ambiguous. In any case, you should send all the pages of the current passport.
@bdidol : Thanks, but slightly different question. I'm submitting all pages of current passport that was issued in Sept. last year, in that there's a visit to the US that I mention in Form IMM 5562.
But the old passport has a lot of travel history; BUT:
None of that is in the last 10 years (last one was 2007)
All are visits (not long term stays)
None over 6 months

So, question is, do I have to submit that old passport scan as well? Or will it just confuse the issue?

Guys, is anyone getting bounce-backs from the email box that we have to send additional docs to? I tried sending some additional documents just now (well uner 5 Mb) and got a bounce-back saying "The recipient's mailbox is full and can't accept messages now. Please try resending this message later, or contact the recipient directly".

My situation was exactly same as you. I sent NEW (with more than 12 months validity) and OLD passport (FOR TRAVEL HISTORY VERIFICATION). I also write an explanation letter to support sending OLD passport.

@robertp & @YULIA-2016

Update for Line 193 @CHINNI@1 :

September 27, 2019 Biometrics requested
October 3rd, 2019: Medicals requested
Can we give PCC ahead or should we wait till they request PCC for my parents. Also, what would be the average time for their file status to be changed to DM.

Sorry, I am not able to open the link for excel file. So please share the link again in order for me to review average times.
Thanks :)

Would wait until midday. Likely people have been sending lots of huge files over the weekend.

The call centre agent advised you wrong cause you're mom should have chosen the "legally separated" status from the beginning. And your dad shouldn't be in the application. Since you already included him as non-accompanying you need to give cic more proof or evidence that your father doesn't want to comply.

https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/resources/manuals/op/op02-eng.pdf

5.11. Inadmissibility and non-accompanying family members

All family members, whether accompanying the principal applicant or not, are required to be examined unless an officer decides otherwise. Normally, an inadmissible family member, whether accompanying or not, would render the principal applicant inadmissible. There are, however, two exceptions to this rule described in R23. The first is the separated spouse of the applicant and the second is where a child of the applicant who is in the legal custody of someone.

Satisfactory documentary proof of a separation and of custody being with someone other than the applicant is required. A separation agreement or custody papers are examples of acceptable proof. Officers will not issue a permanent resident visa to separated spouses, common-law partners or children in the custody of someone else, even if they are examined. This is because separated spouses and partners are not members of the family class as per R117(9)(c) and because children in the custody of someone else are non-accompanying family members.

Officers should be open to the possibility that a client may not be able to make a family member available for examination. If an applicant has done everything in their power to have their family member examined but has failed to do so, and the officer is satisfied that they are aware of the consequences of this (i.e., no future sponsorship possible), then a refusal of their application for non-compliance would not be appropriate.
