Hi everyone! I'm planning to apply for a student visa but the problem is that i don't know if I can prove the money sources. I've been working in China on a student visa for more than a year and was able to make money (unofficial). I transfer them to my mom every month and she's keeping them in the bank. My parents are retired but mom still works. She doesn't make that much though. I'm afraid that the visa officer will start questioning where the money came from and I can't really prove I actually own the money. What would you suggest?

Russia but I’m doing my visa in China because I’m currently studying here and won’t be able to leave anytime soon

You can show your mother's bank statements and a letter from her. Do you have $25,000?

Well, the amount is not really a problem. The problem is proving the source of money. With her pay check it would take years to save that much money, that’s why I’m worried if the visa officer finds it suspicious

So you show your source from working in China. I'm not sure what the issue is, unless you are working illegally.

Then yeah, you have an issue.
Technically, I could pay for my tuition and give them the receipt as one of the proofs. And then the 10k living expenses I might be able to get from my relative as a gift. In this case they wouldn’t have to check anything except from the relative’s account, right?

Not that but you reason critically or tell them how you work illegally then
You just advised OP to say his mom has a business to cover up the fact that he worked illegally. That is not "reason critically", that is fraud.

Look, you're asking for advice on how to commit immigration fraud. That kind of help is not going to be forthcoming here - most people here don't condone fraud, and such threads usually get quickly deleted by the moderators.
