Got invitation for the test on August 30th for Sept. 25th. Passed the test 20/20. The officer asked for the translation of stamps and she said that she will keep them to verify them later. No change in my status since then! Not sure what is going on! :(

As an update, I had my interview in Victoria on September 23. Given my advanced age LOL it was very brief -- no test, no proof of language proficiency, just a quick perusal of my US passport stamp collection. I took the oath on September 27, with 103 other new Canadians from 28 countries, and am now a proud new Canadian citizen. I hope to have my passport application submitted by the end of the week. It's been a long, but ultimately rewarding, journey.
Congratulations, it sounds like you were one of the group that included my husband. He has both of the dates as yours in Victoria. Well done, an end to the the long process. Enjoy your new status. :):):)

An update for information, it is possible to get the new Passport quickly.

My ceremony was Thursday September 26. My status changed to complete on Friday September 27. I applied for my Canadian passport on Monday September 30, and collected it on Wednesday October 2 by paying for an express service. I had to give a valid reason for the urgency. My husband was the same process, although his Oath ceremony was after mine, his was Friday September 27. Hope this helps those who need their Passport processed quickly due to necessity.

Believe my application is rotting in some office in Mississauga.

Citizenship
  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on August 14, 2018.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on October 25, 2018.
  3. We started processing your application on November 9, 2018
Am I the only August 2018 application who hasn't got the test invite yet? My application is just not moving. Checked with CIC and they said it is under process. What are my options to expedite it?

Hi ..
1). do you have DCN# for your fingerprints ?
2). Did you call the IRCC Call Center if IRCC received your FP result ? Otherwise, your fingerprints result might have been lost.

I was requested FP in July 2019. I did mine on 12-July-2019. RCMP said that they sent it on 18-Jul-2019. 2 months later, my local office said they haven’t received it.

I had to re-do it today . According to RCMP, if the CIT office didn’t receive it, the best way would be to redo it. Have RCMP send it to you . After you receive it, you send it directly to IRCC local office by registered mail.
I received a call from IRCC and they said that unfortunately, they did not receive my finger prints from RCMP and they want me to redo it and then they send me a letter to take it with me for finger prints.

So its been two weeks and i did not hear back from them.

Should i call RCMP and asked them to send me a copy of the result as well and i will forward to them just to be on safe side?
