Sorry to hear this, I have couple of questions:

Interesting, did you apply for Urgent Processing?
When did your application return?.
Did they return the Check List with the package?

No, we didn't apply for urgent processing.
We found the package in the mailbox on Sep 25, maybe it was delivered even earlier (we don't check the mailbox daily).
And no, they didn't return the checklist. On my husband's and my applications there were notes that said the applications are complete. On my son's application the note said something like "only the birth certificate is missing". So I guess they don't need an included checklist any more.

Thanks Vladalviv, I did the same, sent my new application without the checklist (I guess it wasn't there) as I didn't realize they may have removed it except after I sent the application, so I hope they won't return the application because of the checklist.
