Hi. Will sharing an additional document after Eligibility status is recommended pass impact the final review?
Thanks.
There are cases rejected after eligibility recommended pass, so who knows.
What is this document and why do you want to submit it now? Did they ask for it or did you see from your GCMS notes that they might need this document? If not, then I suggest not to send the document unless they ask for it. But it is up to you

My VO is Ottawa and AOR is 23rd Feb. As per the email that I received from Mr.Ralph's office the status was as below

Criminality passed.

Eligibility is in progress – recommend pass.

Security checks have not been initiated. They cannot be expedited and timelines are not available.

Got this revert on 9th of Sep.
The probability for asking document is very less if case processing agent made your eligibility recommended pass.
Processing time also depends on visa office. for eg. My file (feb 8 AOR) is being processed in IRCC Winnipeg. The latest processed file according to forum is AOR feb 4 in this location.

It's an FD renewal letter, and I shared it before knowing the status assuming the document might help. Now, I am a little worried it might delay the process.

Hello guys, just wondering if any of you have experienced some similar situations like mine:
Every thing except Security on my application has been marked as passed per my last conversation with agent at call center and the reply I got from
my local MP.

I was informed that my Security verification started on July 15/16, as it has been 2 months, it is still in progress and no updates..

Any thoughts?
My timeline has been posted in my signature as well.
Cheers!

next to impossible? I don't understand why everyone talks like IELTS is the most difficult thing in the world. I studied in non-english (don't know if that a word) medium school. I had no experience of using in day to day life when I first wrote IELTS academic in 2012. All I got was a two week practise at British Council itself. Got an overall 7.5 at that time which was more than enough.
This time I was concerned because I knew my language was highly influenced by the way we use English in India. And I knew my proficiency has gone down at least in speaking. So, I went for a demo IELTS training class decided it was not for me. It looked like a joke to me, so I chose not to proceed. Practised a week on my own and the got CLB 10.
I am still not confident with my English and I know I make a lot of mistakes. But I am not afraid of English or IELTS. I am ready to write the exam at this moment. People should stop pretending like their life is depended on IELTS. If you go to any ROH threads now, every one is discussing about reappearing for IELTS and the idea itself seems to scare them.

Its obvious they are trying to increase population in every province. I think I made a mistake my choosing Ontario. But the 460+ score is norm now. Couple of my friends joined the pool last month, one had 462 and the other had 464. Both of them have no relatives in Canada. If my sister decide to join the pool today, she will have a CRS of 469 (with spouse). Its bad news for those in 440-450 band, but the number of Candidates with 460+ score is growing day by day
Ohh man..Thanks for the info..
Even if I studied in English through school, college, graduation and post graduation..
I still needed 7 attempts to get CLB 8..
So I felt CLB 10 is next to impossible.

It's PPR for me folks! Here are my timelines

FSW - Outland
AOR - Feb 16th
MEP - Apr 8th
BIL - Apr 15th
Emailed Ralph - Aug 12th EST morning hours - Criminality Passed, Eligibility and Security not yet initated
Called IRCC - Aug 14th - Eligibility - Recommended Pass - (Processed Aug 12th as per Rep) - I am not sure if Ralph's email initiated the eligibility, can be a co-incident either.
Last contacted IRCC on Sept 16th - Eligibility still recommended pass, file in queue to be reviewed by a officer.
PPR - Sept 19th (2:59PM PST)
VO - Ottawa

My gut feel is that most applicants with AOR around Feb 1st to 20th will get their PPR within next 2 weeks (going by the trend). Nevertheless, we cannot predict something that is not within any of our control (I doubt even if Canadian govt have control over their PR processing situation).

Thank you everyone for your valuable insight!

If your VO officer decides your result before he get the document there won't be any delay. It takes from 2 weeks to a month for IRCC to transfer this document to the VO.
