quite wonder 2nd round applicants already frustrated . So many from first round still in lineup. You guys should feel lucky that you crossed so many and now only waiting for PPR which will come in 2-3 weeks eventually as well.

I am from first round No update since June after pre-arrival letter. LVO London.

I have booked appointment with Dr Dharmavathy Jegatheeswaran, Scarborough for my parents medical. Do they need to carry their photographs with them or doctor's office will take it?

I think it should be emedical, they should have camera their. It is better to check with your doctor what services they offer.

1) what is pre arrival letter that few members are talking about?
2) When is this pre arrival letter expected ? before/after PPR?
3) what are the next steps after Passport submission and receiving the passport?

@YULIA-2016 PPR Request today. Medical passed July 22, 2019, Medical Done May 21, 2019 for my Dad while my mom January 10, 2019 (we used her supervisa medical) Police Certificate requested Augusts 18, 2019.

Quick question, my mom is in Canada while my Dad is in the Philippines. In the letter it said to send all docs in one single envelope. My mom is the principal applicant. Can we do her landing in Canada (send her passport to Ottawa) while my Dad to VAC in Philippines? My mom authorized stay is valid until November 1,2019

AOR: 03-12-2018
Sponsor Approval: 27-03-2019
Visa Office: New Delhi
Medical & PCC requested: 27-04-2019
Medical Passed: 10-05-2019
Pre-Arrival Letter: 12-09-2019

Today morning I see Decision Made on Principal Applicant on the online status but no updates in the MyCIC account.
I called the agent and i got weirdest of all answers that they cannot tell me what is the status as the file is being processed outside of Canada and they can only see information for offices in Canada..

Does anyone know when should i see any updates on the file on what the decision is or Passport request.. I always thought MyCIC is most up-to-date and the online status tool has a lag of few days.

My parents are coming to canada in less than 2 weeks, can i have the passport stamped in Canada and do flag polling for landing?
i am just worried that they do not invalidate their Visitor Visa if the passport request comes before they are scheduled to arrive.

Nothing to worry...proceed as per plan..:if a passport request comes after two weeks or even close to travel date then just mail it to ottawa after arrival in canada and flagpoll for copr... a passport request does not invalidate existing visa..it is invalidated when they paste the counterfoil of PR visa on the passport or sometimes even later when you land on PR visa..
