I understand what you are saying. That hasn't been my experience, personally. I have actually seen emails and notes that my MP's office has gotten.

Its probably a copy like i received of the basic info that call centre agents have access to. I got more information emailing mexico myself

Yes it arrived in Mexico nothing stamped or returned.

How do you know? I tried the tracker it just says no record found. What does that mean. Sent it from Santo Domingo on the 11th.

We used fedex it tracked all the way to mexico with a 24 hour signed delivery. Did you use Fedex ? Sept 16 is a holiday at the embassy in Mexico also.

My husband just went to vac and they sent using vfs global...but when you put in tracking number it does not work. Says no record found.

Make sure the numbers right - this happened to us and it was like an 8 as opposed to 0. Frustrating but should be in their system now

My friend said her tracker from the vfs global was not correct either , took about 14 days for them to get an email saying it was ready for pick up . Hope that helps

Thank you both!! Just always like to make sure it’s getting where it’s supposed too. I have looked over number and it is the correct one I have. So I guess I just wait. Maybe I will ask husband to just drop in and check. Lol. Hoping for 14 days!!! Thanks. Can’t wait for this to be over!!!!!

For the Cuba folks now processing through Mexico - the Mexican embassy in Cuba just announced that any interviews scheduled for today and beyond have been rescheduled. No explanation provided. I don't think this affects a lot of us, but good to know.

Wow what a mess , it doesn’t affect me at all because my husband is in the DR but I feel for all the Cuban applicants , I hope they make it easier on them with a place to interview that does not require flights . My husband complained that if we get an interview he has to drive 3 hours .... I said imagine taking a flight haha

I think almost everyone is trying to get to Trinidad for interviews anyway - because Mexico is impossible in terms of obtaining a visa. The problem is, then, that with this added issue, EVERYONE will want to go to Trinidad and there simply aren't enough interview spaces to be processed expeditiously, so people are going to wait longer than 6 months for an interview in Trinidad. So yeah...I guess it's going to be a shitshow for everyone else, too.
