need to give Biometric second time?

Hello ,

My wife came to came to canada recently on visit visa to stay with me, for this she has given biometrics, and its valid for next 10yers. but we have applied PR under family class 2 months before, as an update in that process received file number and again BIOMETRIC instruction letter. but her online PR application account is showing biometric status as " we do not need your finger prints" and above coloum it took biometric information what she gave for visitor visa.

So my question now is, online account showing no need of BIOMETRIC but i got letter to give them , to give biometrics she need to travel back to india with in this month. can any one help me with your valuable suggestions .

She needs to give biometrics again for PR application. I know it doesn't make sense that's how IRCC has kept it.
Once given, the new ones will then appear on gckey profile.
