@HN92 & @Shammy7

My situation exactly like you both.

Visa Office : Montreal
AOR : 1st Feb, 2019
Criminality : In Progress
Eligibility & Security : Not Started
Agent sent a reminder on 21st August, 2019 to which Montreal office replied on 22nd August, 2019 saying file is in que for review by an officer.
No red flags or review required.
Last called 06th September, 2019 file has not moved an inch.

I hope we see some updates next week and it brings PPR email for everyone waiting more than 6 months.

Today while doing visarjan (emersion) of God Ganesh I prayed for everyone including myself for speedy PPR.

All the best!

I needed some insight as I am going into a spiral right now.
For proof of funds majority of my funds were in an FD which will mature in Dec 19. However, my bank hasn't mentioned in their letter that these funds are liquifiable at any point of time.
Will this be treated as self explanatory common knowledge (that FDS can be broken as per account holders wish), or will I be in trouble for "not giving enough information"?
Please help!

There is no harm in sending an LOE explaining that your bank policy allow you to withdraw your funds at any time. What you can bring along with LOE is the bond and/or deposit certificate that state the total investment as well as any terms and conditions that might apply to your holdings.

Usually, fixed deposits are considered to be liquid asset and usually they can be withdraw at any moment during the holding period , unless otherwise stated and by trying to show that using the tip I gave up you will be able to clear it enough for IRCC

Thanks for your prompt reply.
I will be sharing the FD advice which mentions the terms n conditions of my FD along with a LOE via webform. I hope that will be acceptable to them.

I would suggest to get a letter from bank on letter head with bank stamp that would be more foolproof

Guys, those who got the PPR recently, please mention if you guys had any review required in your file or your file was approved by CB01126. I am requesting this as most of Jan candidates are hanging there only. Your information will give us lots of hope.

Hello everybody!

After not having any news on my application since March, I wrote to Ralph to ask for information, which they gave. After that, I had not checked my application for a few days, and today I went back in, checked and had a GU! I think I'm not the first person to get a GU right after writing to Ralph, so that might be a good sign, or at least some indication, that writing to Ralph might help move your case if it has been stuck for a while. I'm not assuring anything, I'm just stating what happened to me, and I think other people in this thread!
