My parents have applied for PR visa. My mother had no visible serious medical conditions at the time of application. While waiting for her visa she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has now been operated upon and is on medications. According to her doctor she will be cured in three months but will be taking medicines for next five years.
1.Will her condition affect her chances of her permanent visa?
2. If yes, will I be able to get my father's application separated from her's.
3. Do I have to disclose the condition to CIC now or at the time of her medical exam, expected in two years? Hopefully she will be declared cured by then and will be on continued medication. The application had no such instructions.

You are required to update CIC on any changes in medical health or family composition. Yes you are required to update CIC if she has had her medical. If she hasn’t had her medical she needs to mention it in the medical. If she is taking tamoxifen for the next 5 years it shouldn’t be an issue.
