Today I got the following reply from Ralph:
Dear Bhawna - I spoke to IRCC regarding your application received Apr 12, 2019. It is at the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa.

Standard processing time is 6 months. This means 80% of routine applications are completed within that time frame, while 20% take longer.



Criminality passed.

Eligibility and security checks have not been initiated. They cannot be expedited and timelines are not available.

Medicals are valid until Mar 2020.

My aor is 12 April. I m Very worried now. With this speed it's going to be more than 6 months

Don't worry you will get your pr in first or second week of September because I call cic on 27 August and they told me that my security and eligibility is not started yet but I received a ghost update in evening of 27 August and got my pr interview on 28 August morning. I think security checks takes few hours to be done once it starts. I am inland pnp Express entry candidate and my aor is April 2019.

My AOR is Apr 9 and I have the same status as you. I don’t think we should be querying cases that have not passed 6 months yet because that’s the kind of responses we’ll get. At this point we need to give them that 6 months time and if it passes we can contact them to know what’s happening. From what I’ve seen it doesn’t really take long to processes these cases, they’re just not working on them everyday and when they do pick it up if all documents are in order and information is easy to verify it should be done in a matter of a few weeks. That’s why people get ppr after ghost updates which usually happens is a span of days or even just a couple of weeks.

My AOR April 11. Same status. Don't worry. I think its pretty standard.

I called 26th of August. The representative said everything looks good Nd they are working on police certificates Nd doing background checks . She was asking Whts your specific question. Then asking about update on my application she suggests if everything remains same you will hear something by 24 October.

No I was not aware. I thought asking about update she would tell me everything whts going on with my application. After disconnecting phone I realized that she was able to see everything on screen but she just Told me whatever I wrote . One of my colleague applied on 23 rd feb got her PPR a month ego . Same noc but had less crs.

I you don't ask they won't provide the information. They just provide information only for what you asked. Probably your eligibility may have passed. I suggest you wait until pass the 6 month and call again. Because every inquiry to IRCC are being recorded on your file. So better to be patient.

That's what agaement may have asked "what's your specific question". CRS and NOC doesn't matter how quickly your application is processed. Refer to the forum to understand the process.

Thanks for reply! I was thinking background Nd eligibility is same Nd as per her they are checking my PCC so I was assuming it falls under security Nd criminality.lol
Anyway I just find eligibility is the most important part of process . Thanks for giving me hope that it might passed .Nd yes I am waiting for BOWP too which was applied on 25 June . Hopefully I will get it by end of September
