I am just wondering, after you send in the receipt, what document is going to support the restoration? There should be a form right? For instance in the IMM5710 (Work permit form) there is a box for restoring status as worker, perhaps you should have selected that option along with applying for new work permit, then attach the receipt to restore status? Otherwise you might need to submit a form to restore your status I suppose. I am not really sure on this, but I do know that there have been others who submitted an application to restore status along with OWP and PR applications (In this case, the status is first restore before OWP application is processed, and It is normally after you get your AIP that you will be issued a work permit). And others opted to restore their status first, then send in the PR and OWP application. May be you can ask more experience members, or use the search option to search for restoration with OWP.

Medical request 26 June
Medical done 5 July
Medical passed 16 July
After that there is no activity in my case
At background check it shows not applicable
Is it normal ??????

Hi, am new here and just got a letter for eligibility passed and another was sent to my partner after a few hours with a COPR landing interview thats for the 18th of September. Here is my breakdown:

Date of submission March 20th 2019
AOR May 2 2019
OWP approval 13 May 2019
Medical passed ( they used one I had from CEC that was updated without my knowledge) NOTE all this happened after I receive two rejection for CEC because of using incompetent Agents!!!!!!!!so, my commonlaw sponsored me after a rejection on December 2018.
Eligible passed 28th Aug 2019
Landing COPr letter 28th Aug 2019 as well

I have to say alot of us go through alot of trials through the process of getting PR. The thing is don’t give up ask God to give you strength because I have been through enough. Looking am my processing timeline looks impossible but anything is possible.
Anyone have an experience of the landing interview?

Hi, thank you for your time.
Okay, what I did is just send the OR I got from applying for restoration of my Visitor's visa online yesterday, since the 2 CIC agents I talked to have different advised. It also doesn't seems right to pay two Restoration fee, so I just explain on the notes the situation.Hopefully it will work.
Thanks again.Will join the August thread...

Can some one please tell me after how many days the background check will start after passing the medial exam????
My medical exam passes 16 July and still no further progress

Hi Guys

We get eligibility pass letter both sideman July 12th .In sponsor’s ECAS is DM.but in other side nothing.
How long does usually takes after eligibility pass letter to revive interview ?
Can someone put status sheet here?

Medical passed: May 4, 2019
Background check started: May 28, 2019

I got my Background check started 6 weeks after medical request.

I go my medical request 24 June
Done 5 July
Passed 16 July
But after that no progress
I am worried
