I DIDN'T KNOW. I DIDN'T REQUEST ANY NOTES. BUT I SENT MY PASSPORT TO OTTAWA VISA OFFICE. I ASSUMED MY VISA OFFICE WAS OTTAWA OFFICE.

When they don't have any news ... then ppr is on its way .... they cannot release info about ppr over phone as its recorded... first agent told you truth by mistake.......
I asked for security first agent told me its started ... second third said could be done on papers with officer we don't know ... but i know its started as its last step of my application... so don't worry ... check your account daily and keep an eye on emails as well as junk/ spam emails

CALLED CIC AUGUST 20 AND WAS INFORMED THAT MY BOWP (SUBMITTED ON MAY 10, 2019) WAS APPROVED AND MY PASSPORT WAS SENT TO THE PRINTING ROOM FOR THE IMMIGRATION VISA ON AUGUST 16. CIC REP CONSULTED THAT I MIGHT CAN EXPECT MY PASSPORT BACK AROUND THE END OF AUGUST. NOW I AM WAITING FOR MY PASSPORT. I RECEIVED AN EMAIL YESTERDAY IMFORMING ME BOWP HAS BEEN MAILED TO MY ADDRESS. I HAVEN'T RECEIVED ANY UPDATE FOR MY PASSPORT SO FAR. DURING THE WHOLE PROCESS, I DON'T THINK I RECEIVE ANY GHOST UPDATE. I DIDN'T CHECK THE UPDATE DAILY.

I just call CIC today and got to know that my file is transfered from Vancouver to Calgary. Is it normal? Do anyone have experiences about Calgary vo? My AOR is May 29. Thank you

August 18 - still nothing. Do you have any update?

I received a ghost update on August 22nd but no changes in the status of the application. Called up CIC and they said the application has been approved and I have to now wait for COPR. There wont be any PPR for me according to the agent

I ordered my GCMS notes on July 30.
The thing is that I've submitted my passport scanned one for the consent section but didn't upload the consent form(IMM5744?) with my sign.
Should I re-order my g notes again? I know that some got the gcms notes with no problem only submitting the passport doc.
I am confused now. Please share your case. Thanks!!

Did you get your notes? I applied on August 6..attached only my passport ..no update so far ..It would be great if someone guide us..

No, I haven't received notes yet.
normally it takes 30-35 days so I might wait till next week.
I've ordered my first gcms notes under 'privacy act' on July 30 and then second g notes under 'ATIA' on August 21.
Both of them I've submitted only my passport, not the signed form as a consent form.

I will keep post you once I receive my first one and if there's no response, I will order another one.
I am also the primary applicant inside Canada.
