Hi Members,

I applied for my mother in law super visa on 30th July. Unfortunately, it's refused with following reasoning in letter of correspondence:

I am not satisfied that you have sufficient funds, including income or assets, to carry out your stated purpose in coming to Canada or to maintain yourself while in Canada and to effect your departure.

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.

For my surprise, all are reasoning for a normal TRV, this is an application of super visa. Funds/ Income/ Assets were never asked as part of the required documents.

Appreciate your feedback as I would like to reapply.

How long have you lived in Canada? Did you submit your NOA showing that you met LICO for you family size?

How long did you say your mom wanted to stay?

Did your mother include any documents about her residence in Iraq. Ownership deed or rental agreement? Did she include proof of her savings or property?
