Hello guys,

I have a query if someone can help me out, it will be amazing.

My AOR is 11th May and received Medical pass on June 21st. On 27th July I was checking my profile and saw application update, there was no update and I did not receive an email. I thought I will receive my PPR email soon and then to confirm I called CIC on 5th August. I had a talk with an agent, he said your file was transferred to Vancouver office as they had to do verification regarding your work but the Vancouver office was very fast and your PR is approved. You will be receiving an email in a week or two.
I did not receive the email, therefore, called CIC again and this time they said we cannot tell you anything as your end date is 11th November. I told her everything that the previous agent told me that PR is approved and I will be receiving an email. She said that was wrong on his part to do that and I apologize as we don't know when the email will be sent and then she said we don't have any news for you that's why you have not received any email.

I am not sure what's going on.

Make sure to check your SPAM folders too. And maybe call again or request for GCMS notes.

I am checking my emails regularly but nothing yet. However, what concerns me is the first agent said PR is approved and the second agent said we don't have any news for you that's why you have not received any email. Does that mean my PR was not approved and still under process?

I don't believe the first agent was lying. Maybe the second agent did not want to disclose any information to you. Try calling again, hopefully someone else picks the call

May AoR seems to be going slow. I understand its just 3 months, but there should be some movement specially for CEC. What you guys think?

A large handful of us started in NS and processed in a couple months there. The rest, it seems, went out around the board and probably won’t see much movement until early October

No, nothing yet.

When they don't have any news ... then ppr is on its way .... they cannot release info about ppr over phone as its recorded... first agent told you truth by mistake.......
I asked for security first agent told me its started ... second third said could be done on papers with officer we don't know ... but i know its started as its last step of my application... so don't worry ... check your account daily and keep an eye on emails as well as junk/ spam emails

What is the "real" average processing time to get the PPR in 2019?
I see some people getting their PPR in a month and some have been waiting for more than 6 months.
It is 3 months since AOR (April 23rd) and nearly 2 months since MEP (June 4th) for me. No updates since then.

Anywhere from 2 months to 7 months depending on a number of factors, including where your application is being processed and how much work they have to put in to verify info

I called CIC and the agent told me that I passed criminality but the eligibility requires review.
and my VO is edmonton. I heard edmonton is quite slow than others. I don't know why my case sent to there since I live in Toronto.

Where you live within Canada is completely irrelevant to which office does the processing. Frequently they’ll go through multiple offices before passport request. The only time it matters where you live is interviews, landing, etc. I live literally next door to a centre and my application has been to multiple offices already.
