Procedure for issuing PPR email?

I have been informed by Ralph's office that my application was approved yesterday! (see p237 of the Feb 2019 AOR thread for details and a template before the inevitable barrage of questions about how to contact him!).

I haven't received a PPR email and I was just wondering if anyone knew the internal procedure for sending PPR emails (eg does it come from a certain team or office? At a certain time?). I'm eager to get the official confirmation of approval as I won't believe it until I see the email.

I had hoped that, the same person approving my file would at the same time send the email, but it appears that this isn't the case?

They're usually sent in batches, so you would normally get them between 1 and 3 days after approval.

Yes, I received a ghost update yesterday which prompted me to contact Ralph's office.

I m in the same boat as my bg check changed from 14 august 2019 to we are processing your BG (IP2) and till now no email from london VO .

please keep us posted if you have any update
