Not sure why so many ppl asking for the medical cost! I hope they do realized that they have to pau for their parents housing, living, food, clothes, drugs, dental, eyes etc cost for next 20 yrs.

They started processing my application on August 15. I also checked ecas this morning and the sponsorship application is now decision made.

Clicked into it and see this message:

1. We started processing your application on August 15, 2019.
2. We sent you correspondence on August 15, 2019. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

Is the correspondence the Biometrics request? Or is it regarding the decision? (I never received AoR in my email, I did receive it in snail mail though.)

yes, prescription drugs

I went through the sponsorship undertaking but it never mentioned the prescription drugs. In canada the prescription drug coverage is through province and based on income. I am of understanding that sponsered parents aren’t allowed to have low income social services. Dental and optometrist services aren’t covered through health plan ( few exceptions though). I am not convinced yet about rx drugs. Could you please share any document or information about it. Thanks in advance

Are you sure about prescription drugs too?? Just to clarify

If they are below 65...you have to pay for everything. Say they have diabetes...that's couple of 100s each month alone

Just amazing how people are becoming so Impatient.. there are some from 2018 still waiting for PPR.. we all should be thankful to be selected in 2019....
