Only 2 Weeks to leave after Study permit expiry.

Hello, i entered Canada as an international student on Aug 9th 2019. Will study at Seneca, Game art and animation 1 year PG program. The Study Permit they issued me has same expiry date as my program end date which is Apirl 17 2020. And in conditions they mention "must leave canada by 2020/05/1".

What will be the process of applying PGWP as i don't have enough time after my program ends, mostly students get 3 months after their program ends but i only got 2 weeks. And if i apply PGWP with in 2 weeks before May 1st do i get permission to stay.

You should get program end date + 90 days .
What’s the expiry date of your passport ?

If your passport has a date beyond the 90+ days after program completion and you didn’t get it , just apply for a SP extension .

I’ve seen people get the extra time to apply fo PGWP.

And yes, you’ll be allowed to stay but for any reason you did a mistake in the PGWP app and your application is sent back, you lose implied status.

Be on the safe side and get an extension.

Call IRCC if you have any doubts.

No, Service Canada doesn’t deal with extensions.

IRCC does, apply for an extension of your SP, better yet just call IRCC and they’ll guide you.

Expiry date of my passport is March 2023 and counterfoil expiry date is 30th Sept 2020.

Can i use Amend record of landing or Valid Temporary Resident Documents form to correct this mistake?

when it says Must Leave Canada by (date), does it mean i still have 90 days to restore if I let it expire??? this is after i got mine extended
