Hi, Bit urgent.
A friend of mine changed his marital status and within 24 hrs got a message that you are no longer eligible to be in the pool.
He rechecked his account and its still showing the same old amount of POF and not enough for spouse and himself. But he clearly remembers changing the proof of funds as well. Can you please share what is to be done in this scenario? The form won't allow him to modify personal information and everything is locked. He is tensed if he has to apply all over again as he was in the pool for 6 months now.

Once the profile has become ineligible, it cannot be reactivated.

Your friend will have to create a new profile from scratch.
Oh no! Can he write to IRCC that he filled everything properly?
Its really disappointing as he was in the pool for 4 months now under FSW.

No. Length of time in pool is irrelevant in most cases (unless tie-breaker rule is invoked). Just have him create a new profile.
His score is 468 under FSW. so considering that tie breaker rule has always been applied and with every draw they only select 3200 to 3500 applicants, then doesn't that mean he has lost his place? Because now, the tie breaker rule will begin from earlier days as lot of people waiting since December Jan 2020 will get first preference in line right?

No. As already said, you need to create a new profile. This is the only option.

Thank you Scylla.
if his score is 468 (FSW) and he submits it in June 2020 and if there is a tie breaker on next draw for example in October 2020, then does it mean that people who had 468 scores and submitted their profiles in March 2019 will get first preference as only 3000-3500 profiles are selected in the draw. ?

My question is does that put him behind everyone who submitted their Application in pool earlier this year as he will now be submitting everything in June 2020? There will be so many people with 468 score right?
