Hi All,

Anyone else having trouble accessing GCkey today?
For some reason whenever I log in, it takes me straight to the Canadian Gov't website asking what language I want to use and when I do click English, it takes me to the Canadian Gov't website options... Hope someone can help me resolve this issue.

TIA

This is a cache issue. At the same time, try to login again and it should directly take you back in. Alternatively clear your cache and history or use a different browser.

It happened to me on google chrome , while i was login in via ECAS. I tried it on IE , it worked like a charm.

Hi Everyone,

We sent the sponsorship application for my husband on June 3. We received the AOR on July 24. We've been trying to link the application since then with no success. I know this has probably been discussed a million times but would appreciate any insight. Here is what we have done so far:

1. Based on our understanding, we created a GCkey under the email we have used in our application (we used one joint email). Is this the correct method?
2. We have been entering all the information of my husband (principal applicant) when trying to link the application. We have tried so many combinations, the "spaces", place of birth, UCI. To confirm, when linking the application, should we be entering all the information of the Principal Applicant or the Sponsor?
3. My husband has an alternate UCI that he was given when he last applied for his Canadian tourist visa. Should he be using this? We have tried this option and it also hasn't worked
4. I (Sponsor) have also tried to sign in via the Sign-in Partner visa my bank, but also no luck.

Would appreciate any help possible. We have attempted so many different combinations and nothing.

Hello Fellow June Applicant,
Does anyone received AOR today?
My App received June 17-2019 no AOR yet anxiety is hitting so bad. I'm worried they might return my application due to missing PCC even though I Putted small note of explanation I'm afraid if they miss that or not see the note... Fingers crossed

Had a hard time with ours too but after following this exact method, I was able to link ours within one try.
How to link account to GCKey
(1) Go to this below listed link
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html
(2) Click on continue to Gckey
(3) If You've already account created, login with your Username and Password otherwise Click on Sign up to go on next page and create your username, password and security questions.
(4) After creating my CIC account, click link application to this account.
(5) Then select category and subcategory that you applied for.
(6) Then select Application Number and Family name
(7) Fill your family name(surname), given name and date of birth as per Passport or Application form. PUT YOUR FAMILY NAME IS THIS FORMAT - Smith (ensuring the first letter is capitalized). Then fill in Application number.
(8.) Next in applicant personal info panel fill CITY AND COUNTRY OF BIRTH, DO NOT FILL IN ANY PASSPORT INFORMATION. AGAIN WRITE ON THE SAME FORMAT (CAPITALIZED FIRST LETTER OF YOUR CITY). Note that if in your application, you included the word "City", include it on here too.
(9) Select Province and town you intend to live in (as on your IMM0008) and select current marital Status.
(10) Finally select 2 as the number of family members.
(11) Once you fill all information, Click on Search for my application
(12) Your application will be found and can be linked.
(13) You can get real time updates on your paper application online.

at button of the pages "How many people in this application" you should put 2 or more if you have dependent including your husband.

What was the reason for missing AOR if you can explain just so that others would know. And i think there's still time as per tracker. Many people from 14th june are yet to receive their AOR's.
