How long to wait after "PReVU Verified" ?

Hi,

I received my ITA during March and its been close to 3 months I submitted by final application. From GCMS notes, I got to know that my application status is "PReVU Verified".

Does anyone have an idea how long more do I have to wait before I get the PR confirmation ?

PReVU Verified has no effect on processing time. Ignore it.
Actually no matter which stage has completed, the other stages can take months just to "start".

My AOR was Dec 1. By end of Jan, my medical had passed, my criminality had passed, and my eligibility was "MET/recommended pass". Only thing left was my background check, and I thought my PPR would arrive very soon.

Months passed and I ordered 2 more gcms notes. I even called IRCC and sent case specific enquiries. Each time I was told that Security stage had not started, even passed the 6 month mark

Finally, just before the 7th month was over, the Security stage started and passed within 2 days.

My advice - don't make any assumptions about processing time. Some people who order gmcs notes find out that nothing has started even after 6 months and then within a week or two all the stages simultaneously start and pass and they get their PPR emails.

Thank you for the heads up. This waiting period is quite frustrating. Your AOR was during 2018 Dec? Just happen to notice the info in your signature!

Yeah, it can get pretty frustrating but it just needs patience.

7-8 months processing time is quite common. And while I hope yours gets processed faster, you should mentally prepare yourself for that scenario.
