-Our appeal got approve on May 2019.
-After almost 45 days on I received and email saying application has been reopen. Now, I had to filled some documents that was mentioned on email , Which I have sent within 3 days.
*Medical

NOW I JUST WANT TO KNOW HOW LONG I HAVE TO WAIT TO GET APPOINTMENT FOR BIOMETRIC AND WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO ASK ME TO SUBMIT MY PASSPORT ?

*It would be kind of those who can help me to know the time line , who already got there visa or those who have submitted there passport for stamping.

Thanks

Hello Lin,
My timeline are the same as yours. The asked for PPR and we submitted last week. I find this odd on the PPR letter that "Note: this letter is not a guarantee that a Visa will be issued to you". Did your letter say the same thing. On appendix B, it does mention *Original ARC on file*. They did ask for 2 PR photos, Passport with at least 6 months expiry and Appendix B form.

I appreciate your response on this.

The PPR email to start like this :

The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, your permanent residence visa. If for any reason you are not able to meet this deadline, please inform our Hong Kong office immediately via the IRCC Web Form: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp with details concerning your situation.

Did you mail out your passport, did you receive your passport yet. The email just the request your passport... after you receive the passport, there is a landing paper for you. I receive a mail of the original copy of ARC .. but when you land in Canada, it will be nice if you have a copy of ARC approval in case they ask for it.

What is AIP?

I will provide you some history of my case. We received a PFL regarding our marriage validity, relationship genuineness and intent to return to Canada. We responded to PFL and got called for interview 15 days after we submitted our response. We found out one day before the interview about my wife's pregnancy and submitted the medical report at the interview. We have been living together since we got married first in UAE then in Pakistan. The person interviewing us only discussed about our relationship and did not mention anything about validity of marriage. After two days of interview they requested to submit PCC from UAE and provided us 45 days for submission. We submitted PCC after 40 days. At that time we noticed that GCKEY showed that bgc was in progress. After 40 days of submitting PCC we got a letter requesting my detailed employment history and detail about a visit to Nepal which was discussed during interview. It's been 45 days since I submitted my response and LVO is completely silent. I have not received any pre arrival mail either. What is your opinion regarding our case?
I am not a immigration lawyer or consultant, I am just a forum user that trying to provide limited information, suggestion and/or knowledge that are based on my own experiences, reading and case study. So, I really don't have any idea where your case will end up with. But, as long as you provided all required documentation, eventually, you will have an answer from CIC. In my own opinion, at least, your case is still in process, and if you are here long enough that you will know LVO is among the slowest VOs, plus the country of origin that your spouse comes from and the PFL letter you have received, that will definitely drag your case to a longer period than normal. So, just be patient and let it run its course. You have understand that most times in this process that keep complete silence means good than bad, because it means CIC doesn't need anything extra from you. Trust me, if CIC found something unusual or have their suspicious on your case, you definitely will hear from them sooner than later.
Btw, having a baby is a plus towards the genuine of your relationship, but it is not a decisive factor. Also, as spousal sponsorship, only to prove the genuine of your relationship isn't quite enough to ensure an approval, you have to provide enough evidence to convince CIC that the sponsorship isn't for the sole purpose to secure an immigrate visa.

Just state a fact here, each case is different, it really depends on where the applicant comes from, how complicated the applicant's background is, such as military services, work histories, travel histories and etc. It can be done in weeks, months or even more than a year, the worst can be no time line at all, until CIC conducted all required BGC to satisfy them. But most cases' results show that it can be done within months.

we had the same language as yours but they wrote *The letter is not guarantee that the Visa will be issued to you*. They also asked for appendix B form, which was straight forward asking questions about any changes. We submitted the passport 1 week ago, I wonder how long they take to send it back?

You need to tread carefully when you take your appeal to the Federal court level. The rules that they use in addressing your appeal are not the same rules as what they use by the IAD member/judge. They only look at new evidence which has not been considered before, they are not going to review any of your old evidence in your lost appeal but rather examine any procedure flaw and mistake when the IAD member accessing your case. Maybe you can ask if you can get any H&C granted from your case. I do not know what happened when someone lose a Federal appeal because the decision is final at the Federal level, and you might not be able to sponsor the same spouse anymore. Try to work with not just any lawyer but spend money and hire the best lawyer. Good luck!
Thank you so much for your great advice. Me and my wife is reading our refusal book. They lied alot and plus they change our statement also in their refusal notes. We says one statement and then in the notes they mention another. Like we submit 5 Appeal Books. We have to plan to stay for 2 years and that's what we have to do

It took us 26 days (including weekends) to get the passport back. The office mentioned they don’t keep the passport for more than a month.

London is slow in processing. It can take 3-4 months before they respond. Did you send a letter of resignation from your job? If not they might refuse your case because they think you don't intend to move to Canada. London sends a lot of PFL and refuse a lot of cases. Did you send strong proof. I hope your case is approved and not refused.
