I'm wondering if my Spouse needs to add his two kids on the application as he does not have custody of them, only supervised visitation. The mother will refuse to bring the kids for medicals as its hard enough to even get her to send photos of his kids. Any advice is appreciated.

I think yes, he needs to put his kids on his application... I guess they will be non accompanying dependent and will
Need to go through medical. He will need to do all possible to bring them to medical, or at least save all the proof he was trying to do so.... just to prove it is not his fault they are not going through medical.

To add it on top of that, if he tried everything and still cannot manage to get his two kids to do the medical, in order to keep processing his application, CIC will provide him a form to sign to exclude his two kids as his family member forever. If he is not willing to sign, then his application will be refused.

Personally I dont see an issue here. My case was the same. Mailing address - my wife address in Canada (my sponsor) and my residential address where I currently reside (out of Canada). Unless you are both in Canada... then residential should be the same as mailing and then you should correct it.
All the best.
Thanks a lot for your response .. It's a relief. May i know your timeline plz?

Hello helpers!

Me and my partner are living together for more than a year now and thinking of applying PR through common law sponsorship for me. Currently, I'm living in Canada on study permit and my partner is a Canadian.

Here're the docs we have:
- copy of the lease on both of our names
- utilities some on her name, some on mine stating same address
- mails and parcels mentioning same address
- the 20 photos
- receipts from the hotel stay on both of our names
- a letter from friend on both of our names
- tenants insurance on both of our names (but it's taken just 2 months ago)
- I have security clearance as I work for the federal governement, mentioning the same address
- and many small things

Thinking to get what we don't have right now -
- CRA status change to common law
- Joint bank account and credit card (even though I'm able to support myself)

Our doubts are:-
- while filing tax my partner put her Mom's house address last time, will that be a problem even if we're providing so many other proofs? What if we don't provide any doc related to the taxes?
- Our driving license addresses not updated to the current one, we got little lazy, we're doing it this month. Will they consider old addresses on license? Again if we don't provide DL and show some other docs?
- Is my case weak or enough to get through?

Hi, I was in Canada as visitor visa and I got in love with a man abmnd now we are married since last 2017 . I got refugee claim but after my married we decided to withdraw the refugee claim thinking that now I am married and why should we both pay for 2 case as my husband will sponsor me . After withdrawing the refugee claim I got a letter after three months from CBSA asking me to come for intyand then later I was told to leave Canada because I have withdrawn my refugee claim. Whenever CBSA officer used to call me , I use to always go and be there before time. As I was asked to book the direct ticket for my home town that is India I booked it and showed to the CBSA officer, four days before my departure to India I was called again to meet that CBSA officer and I went to meet her . There I was told by CBSA officer that I have cancelled my ticket and the officer arrest me , where I was in deep shock dint knew what is happening. My husband and me dint cancel any ticket and why should we do this? Knowing that my husband is going to sponsor me from my back home , why should I do all this and create problems in my case . I was called for hearing in CBSA inside only and the lady judge was also telling me that I attended each time whenever I was called to CBSA so how can they make me behind the bars? The judge released me asking to pay my husband some money to sign the bond which my husband dod it.
I came to India as my husband boy the new ticket and then I email my airlines to know what happened to my previous ticket and who cancelled it . As my travel agent gave in writing that he dint cancel the ticket. I got the email reply from my airlines saying that my ticket is still lying with them as unused and if I want I can claim in that giving link.
My question is that we all are human being and bound to make mistakes now after knowing it was not my mistake but it was CBSA officer mistake can I record get clear

Sorry it is not easy for you right now. But this is kind of what happens when you go out of status in a different country... you were deported or you just left on your own?

Hello. Need your help once again. Even after checking 100 times before submitting our application, different mistakes are coming out. I just noticed my translator forgot to mention the divorce date in the translated divorce copy and i also failed to notice that. But it's mentioned in the translated copy of Divorce Registration Paper. Will that be a problem? I just got AoR2 from my local visa office few days earlier. Should I translate another one and upload via webfom? I am really frustrated now Seeking experts suggestion.
