Hi there guys,
I am born Filipino and got married to a Canadian citizen last year. Our first spousal application was returned due to incomplete documents and when 2nd application was submitted my husband has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic cancer, what will happen to our application if something happens to my husband? FYI ,going to try for visitors visa this week urgent.
Thank
Your spousal sponsorship is dependent on your husband. So if something happened to him, this would cancel the application and you would have to look for means to qualify and apply for PR on your own.

Dear,
I applied for sponsorship visa for my spouse two months ago.We are living outside of Canada. I sent all our docs to Nova Scotia (Case Processing Centre-Sydney, P.O. Box 9500, Sydney, Nova Scotia, B1P 0H5).
I have not received any comment that they receive my package or not? Is this address correct or not?
What is the centralized Intake office email address to ask them?

Thanks & BR

Do you guys have any idea how long does it take there? The status on my online account stated that they are doing Bgc since I sent my Application by mail on 25th Feb.

Hi All,

My NOA for year 2018 is still under review. I wrote a letter explaining the reasons and also about my current and previous employment history and my financial status. I provided a screenshot of my CRA account showing that’s it’s under review, plus I have attached NOA for year 2017, T4 for 2018, paystubs and original employment letter with current paystubs . I sent my application last week will it be an issue. I thought to wait but as it was clearly mentioned in the checklist that if We are not able to provide recent NOA an explaination to be provided. Anyone with knowledge on this please comment. Thanks

Hello Everyone, Please advice
I had applied for my PR Application(Inland Common-Law Family SPonsorship) on august 08 2018, and its almost going to be august 08 of 2019. It says on the online account that only 10 days are left, although it still shows that background and eligibility is still to be assessed. I was wondering if there is anyone with same timeline and also if anyone whose application was exceeded timeline and how long did it take ?
Thank you

Issue: Mailing Adress vs residential address
Hello everyone. I made a stupid mistake in my application but it appeared that the consequence might be huge. It can be returned or rejected. I put my Sponsor's address as my mailing address in imm008 but the residential address is my home country's address. My file has been transferred to my local Visa Office and I just got AoR2. I saw in the email that my Sponsor's address has been put under my name and it occurred to me that it's not right. I researched and found out that applications are being rejected for this. Now we want to rectify the situation. Can I send a webform attaching the imm008 and LOE with the same address as mailing and residential? Or should I add a representative form?
FYI, we already sent one webform before regarding a different issue, so can we send the webform again?
Thank you all in advance.

Personally I dont see an issue here. My case was the same. Mailing address - my wife address in Canada (my sponsor) and my residential address where I currently reside (out of Canada). Unless you are both in Canada... then residential should be the same as mailing and then you should correct it.
All the best.

Hello everyone!

I wanted to renew my PR card to reflect my married name. In the Philippines, when married our maiden last name becomes our married middle name then add my husband's last name (see example below). I want my PR card to match what's on my Philippine passport. To do that, do I have to undergo legal name change (so my middle name match what's on my PH passport)?

example:
Maiden First Name: A
Maiden Middle Name: B
Maiden Last Name: C
Husband's Last Name: D

PH married name: ACD

Thank you!
