Migration to canada

Hi all,
I am thinking to apply for Canada express entry migration program. I have got savings of around $45,000. Meanwhile, my husband is planning to file for the bankruptcy due to a loss in his business. Because I am not liable for his debts, can we still go ahead with the migration process? Can my husband still become the primary applicant using my savings as Proof Of Funds?

He needs to prove that he has access to the money, either because it is in a joint account (the other owner must be accompanying) or he is the sole owner.

While going through a bankruptcy you wouldn’t want to transfer your funds to his name.

Thank you both for replying. Judging by your answers, It seems my husband won't be able to overcome the POF problem due to his bankrupcy. Right? But my question is, are we even eligible to apply in the first place regardless of who's primary or secondary, in case where one applicant is filing bankrupcy?

I do not believe "having ever filed for bankruptcy" is part of any statutory questions that come up while filling the application so I don't think that by itself is an exclusion criteria.
