@ashokacca Hang in there buddy! I know the wait is killing us but I am sure they are looking at the Nov files. There are consistent golden mails and RFV mails every week even if it is only a few. We will get our mails before mid of Aug for sure.
After Upasna got PPR with eligibility under review, I am really positive
Sry - i could not find any info on your first set of gcms..
When did you recieve the first set of notes and what did it say regarding your eligibility,criminality,medical,security and info sharing
My Aor is Nov 14...
Ordered 1st gcms on April 01... got it on May 22.... Ottawa office.... eligibilty met... Security and criminality not started....
Ordered second gcms on june 20.. still waiting...
Called cic just now... he says eligibilty under review now... Security and criminality not started yet to start
Has anyone from November received a procedural fairness letter? Anyone get past it and receive PPR? I received one on June 28 and sent in the docs they needed on July 19.

There has been a lot of discrepancies between the information provided by cic call center agents and the actual update - so i would say do not panic on what they said about eligibility or background checks..
While waiting for the gcms notes - i would highly suggest to write to MP's office Mr.Goodale - goodale@sasktel.net requesting the current status update of your profile..
Does not matter if you are not in canada - you could still write to the email requesting current status update - just provide your Aor, date of birth, application number, uci id and they will give you an update..
Just make sure you DO NOT proactively mention you are not in canada or is in a different country..

Background check has two parts - criminality and security...
You will get to know on status of each by either calling cic or emailing MP Ralph Goodales office..
Security part of background check takes time as it is carried out by external third party agencies - it may vary from one week to 6+ months..
Get to know which one is being carried out first..

There has been a couple of pprs this week - especially from march 2018- sept 2018 (pls go through other months of 2018 in the forum - not sure which months exactly) - that has been under review required - mostly for proof of funds - assigned to Sydney center that have recieved pprs... Which is a Positive Sign that things are moving....
Most rr's - applicants have ordered gcms notes or found out reason for rr and has proactively submitted updated docs ... Only rarely one or two app that ignored the sign of rr and did not find out the reason for such got into trouble..
So i would highly recommend understand details of the app and reason for delay to the best of our ability and do the necessary..- upload updated docs proactively, order gcms notes, email cse once a month - call cic bi weekly .. The rest - leave it to ircc
