Any candidates from Oakville? What office are they being sent to and how fast is the processing?
I am from Georgetown which is quite close to Oakville and I am being processed in Kitchener. I learned from this forum that you can just call and ask them where you are being processed :) Alternatively, ordering your GCMS notes will tell you where you are being processed.

I just passed the test and interview (whoop whoop).

It has been said on this forum many times before but just in case you are wondering, the test is really very VERY easy and very intuitive. Don't let it confuse you if the correct answers are always the same letter (or two) - mine were too and I scored 20/20.

During the interview I was only asked about when I came to Canada, if I work and whether I went to school in Canada. They didn't even go through my documents or passport (and I had over 4 pages of travel history).

Overall experience - very relaxed.

Good luck everyone!!

Thanks! How is the processing time in Kitchener? How far are you in the process?

Just received my oath invite. Aug 23rd; 10:30. updated myself :)
Awesome news man, very happy for you! Your journey is all but over. Was the delay between your interview and oath date consistent with what the officer told you at the time ?

Guys,

My end is coming to and end as they invited me for an oath. Questions:
- How long does it take and what are the steps?
- they want my consent to be photographed and recorded. Can I in return take photos and record?
- I am not fun of British Monarchy. Is the oath spoken loudly or as a group?
For my Chinese friends, about an hour. I would imagine taking pictures is fine, people come neatly dressed and family and friends so IRCC would be understanding with taking pictures as souvenirs. Oath is spoken as a group I believe.
