Hi folks,

Need your expertise.

I am a PR holder and want to invite my parents to visit me for the month of Oct 2019. I currently rent a room and have made booking arrangements for my parent's visit. Do you think attaching the booking confirmation is sufficient for the proof of accommodation?

Please let me know your thoughts.

Yes I do not see why not, if you are inviting them you might want to explain why they are not staying with you.

@Jets13 Thanks for the swift reply.

Please let me know if the below clause in my invitation letter would be sufficient to explain that:

"I am currently residing at xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and I only rent a room unit in this house therefore will be providing my parents with accommodation at “xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (attached booking confirmation)"

Maybe instead of saying that you will be providing your parents accommodation you can just say that it is booked at xxxxxx. If it looks like you are providing, it could seem like your parents cannot provide on their own. So might be better to say its booked and not say who booked it.
