What was your eligibility statement in your profile before your ppr? I just want to know which other fields shows the date for example medical says on x date you passed your medical . Similar to that what all others show the date?

Thanks! Hope everything will work out for you as well. We will probably bump at each other If I'm still around Harry Hays that time. My interview is the time slot before you.
Hi miserylovescompany, Maybe I am too excited on receiving my golden email, I am very sorry that there was a typo error on my interview date, it should be on the 18th instead of 16th of July. Didn't expect such silly mistakesl, my apologies.
Since your interview will be tomorrow, I sincerely hope that everything runs smoothly! Hope you can also update me on your interview experience as I am quite worry about mine. Thank you and good luck to you!

If you already applied, i believe informing CIC about your wife score will be useless; on the contrary, it can delay your application. Also, i believe you would get your PR by October (hopefully before). So, if I were you, i would stick with my current employer for 2 months more.

By the way, i have a friend with a closed work permit and claimed 50 points as well. He left his job 15 days before receiving his PR (specifically 15 days). I'm just trying to let you relax, because i believe if you passed the eligibility, you will get your PR no matter what. However, it's better to stay in the save side to avoid any circumstances in the final review of your application.

Does anyone have their application processing at Vancouver visa office? My AOR is 20 April, MEP 31 May and no update since then.

hi..
I am CEC April Applicant . Tomorrow is my Landing Interview . I have question regarding the date of my first time Landing in Canada . Originally i Came to Canada on 26 August 2015 but my passport stamp from canadian border shows 27 August 2015 . When i submitted my application i wrote down the date which was on passport but today i checked my ticket and my study permit Showing 26 August 2015. I am thinking that i will explain my situation to the officer at the time of landing .. will that be ok ?

Don't think this will cause any problems.

Hi Everyone,

Thought I would give an update as I have not posted one in a while. I called CIC on Wednesday and the agent simply said my background check is ongoing and that once that is completed a decision will be made. He also said that they have all the documents they need to make a decision. His response sounded quite generic. I asked about eligibility on my application page and he said all that will be updated once the decision is made. Has anyone received such a response from CIC?
